Splinterlands Engagement Challenge: Powerful Combos - Elias Max Pruitt + Silverblade Fighter + Leolin Sifu
Hi! I’m Lyn, a returning player in Splinterlands. I started playing way back in 2021 when play-to-earn games were booming. This post is part of the weekly community challenge for Splinterlands. This week is about Powerful Combos where I share my recent favorite combo.
💥Powerful Combos: Elias Max Pruitt + Silverblade Fighter + Leolin Sifu💥
Featured Cards:
Elias Max Pruitt is a Legendary Life and/or Water Summoner. It grants allied monsters with +1 Melee Attack and +1 Armor. Also, you can choose if you want additional abilities between Repair and Cleanse or Armored Strike and Piercing. In this combo, I chose Armored Strike and Piercing to give Leolin Sifu the ability to attack using its armor and and the same time, its attack can pierce through armor.
Silverblade Fighter is a Rare Life monster unit. It costs 6 mana to use this card and at Level 2, it has Flank and Void Armor. Flank grants the unit after him with Reach ability and Void Armor prevents magic damage to directly hit the health. Silverblade Fighter should be in Position 1 in this combo and should be followed by Leolin Sifu.
Leolin Sifu is an Epic Life monster unit. It costs 9 mana to use this card and at Level 2 it has True Strike and Relentless Strike. True Strike will never miss and Relentless Strike deals true damage and add +1 damage if the enemy has Void, Shield and Forcefield abilities. Leolin Sifu should be positioned second in this combo.
Ruleset and Battle Plan
I want to showcase one of my most favorite combo — a combo that focuses on dealing heavy damage using melee and armor attack. This strategy works perfectly in battles where everyy armor stat and every hit matters.
Let’s break it down.
🌟Summoner: Elias Max Pruitt🌟
This summoner is the core enabler of the combo. In this battle, Elias Max Pruitt will provide +1 Melee Attack, +1 Armor, Armored Strike and Piercing
🔥Monster Line Up🔥
Silverblade Fighter is placed in the first position and will act as the tank. At level 2, it has 1 melee attack power and 6 armor stat and will receive an additional 1 melee attack power and 1 armor stat from Elias Max Pruitt. In addition, it will also receive additional 2 armor from Nimbledook Explorer. Its huge armor stat is crucial for being a tank to block most of the damage from either magic, range or melee attack from the enemy.
Leolin Sifu is placed in the second position and will act as the heavy damager. At level 2 it has 3 melee attack power and 6 armor and will receive an addtional 1 melee attack power and 1 armor stat from Elias Max Pruitt. It will also receive additional 2 armor from Nimbledook Explorer. And it will also have the Armored Strike and Piercing abilities from Elias Max Pruitt. These abilities are crucial so that Leolin Sifu can attack using its armor and melee attack power. Also, Silverblade Fighter's Flank ability will let it attack from the second position. In total, it can deal 9 armor strike damage plus 4 melee attack power. A huge 13 attack damage in single turn.
Nimbledook Explorer is placed in the third position and an addition to this combo but not always necessary. If the mana capacity and ruleset permits, it is nice to use Nimbledook Explorer in this line up. It provides 2 armor stat to all allied units becuase of its Protect ability.
Halfling Refugee is placed in the fourth position and will act as additional protector from sneak attacks.
Final Thoughts:
In this battle, my opponent used a combination of melee, range and magic attack. My line up dominated the opponent in this battle. This combo is simple but powerful when used correctly — give it a try in your next battle.
