Grading the Conclave Arcana Archons - Part 3 - The Legends

In this final part, we are looking at the last two Archons in the Conclave Arcana set so far. They are the two best grades and they represent Bloodlines that are still relatively new to the meta.

Razi Clanktrap / Rare Death / Grade: A

Razi Clanktrap is the four mana death Archon who belongs to the Gnome Bloodline. Its main selling point is that he gives Painforged to Gnomes and also that he can bring some key units to battle from other elements. Painforged is an awesome new ability that can make your units more powerful over time, but it requires specific cards and combos in order to be maximally effective. Razi also brings Closed Ranged to the team as the main Archon ability, and while it is useful, it just isn't that good either. Still, this card can be extremely powerful within the right context, and with the right monsters to play, but might struggle inside a more modest deck.

Top 3 Off Splinter Gnomes

Bella Ratajowlski / Rare Life / Grade: A+

Bella Ratajowlski is the four mana Archon who is part of the Ulund family. She brings Deflect as her main ability, and that alone makes her possibly the best four mana Archon we have ever seen. This will nullify any effect of Blast, Thorns, Return Fire, Magic Reflect and Corrosive Ward against your entire team, and will allow you to attack with impunity against Eternal Tofu, Ilthain and others. That alone would justify the perfect grade, but the rest of the kit is good too. She gives Shield to Ulunds, and Shield is good but it can make also you more vulnerable to Relentless Strikes. Bella's only weakness is that the roster of Ulunds that she can bring to battle, and especially off splinter ones, is very limited. Everytime an Ulund gets released in the future, though, she will get even more powerful.
