Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Hello everyone. Today I am going to share my battle.

Battle details: I played with water splinter and my opponent used a water splinter against me. Life, Death and Dragon teams were banned in this battle.

Battle Ruleset

It was a battle with 19 mana cap and three rules:

Silenced Summoners: summoners do not give any stats buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities.

Aim True: Attacks always hit their target.

Lost magic: Monsters with magic attack may not be used in battles.

Discussing My Lineup

Summoner, KELYA FRENDUL level 5. This water summoner adds +1 speed and armor to my team.

First Position, SEA MONSTER level 6. This monster has great melee attack and two abilities: Heal and Thorns.

Second Position, HYDRA level 3. Awesome melee attack monster who has Thorns, can Heal and retaliate.

My Strategy & Tips

This time I could not use my some of my favorite units because mages were not allowed in this battle. I dislike ranged attackers because they are mostly useless when they are pushed to first position. So I decided to play melee monsters . I suspected that my opponet will also play melee monsters so I used all my mana to use two strong monsters who both has healing and thorns and can punish melee attackers.

Analysis of The Battle

At first I was a bit worried that my opponent can heal his tank. But my worries were misplaced and not valid because even with healing my opponent's tank was not strong enough to defeat my SEA MONSTER it took a little while but soon enough my SEA MONSTER was able to slay enemy tank and after that my opponent no longer had any chance of winning.
