Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Welcome to the Frontier!

Greetings to all my fellow players around the world and to Splinterlands. Today the challenge is all about the new rank mode - FRONTIER.

Splinterlands has been bringing up so much to the game, and everytime, they never fail to give us not only exciting but rewarding format. From different card game(modern, wild, survival, brawl, tournament), to land and now the all new and hot Frontier.

Battling for four years in Splinterlands, I can easily navigate thru the system. For new and old returning player, this post can help you to get in the right direction.

The first thing we need to do is to have cards that we can use to play the Frontier. And the way to have it is by playing the Campaign.

Upon opening the splinterlands website or app, just click Play then select Campaign.

Not we are in Campaign format, we will play the BOOK 1 WAUR MEDGE ACADEMY. Book 2 is not yet available, coming soon.

In the photo below, we need to clear it from the start until chapter 12. Mine has already checked mark meaning I finish it already. Every chapter finish we will be rewarded with card, and that card will be the one that we'll be using in FRONTIER FORMAT. I didn't finish all the chapter in one sitting, the last chapter is a tough one. But I advise to clear all the chapter to have the complete set of cards before jumping to FRONTIER.

Now we are all set, battle ready! We have the starter deck of cards, and also the good thing in playing campaign is we were able to practice the game itself and familiarise the cards and ability.

We can now head to FRONTIER FORMAT. At this page we can find the BATTLE BUTTON, the 50 energy(every battle consumes 1 energy, and replenish 1 energy every 1 hour), and below it is the reward saying 5 wins to next daily reward. The win is not required to be consecutive as long as we complete it before the timer below of 24 hours we are entitled. We can get up to 3 rewards for a day. The cards that we will get is ramdom, it can be common, rare, epic or legendary. And can either be Regular or Gold Foil.

Now lets try to battle in FRONTIER. Are you excited? I know you are😄. The backround is nice, I really like it I hope you like it too. Both teams composition is identical.

As expected it was a Draw, you can watch the battle here.

Now that we are already equipped with the knowledge on playing FRONTIER, we are ready to conquer. Cards that we recieve from rewards can be combine, it unlocks the ability of a card and increase its attack/HP/speed. Make sure to claim the rewards before the timer runs out, or you will lost it when it resets.

Now lets talk about the league and the Foundation Chest. In FRONTIER format we have Bronze, Silver and Gold league. Now this is important, we know now that we can have reward daily by winning battle, now another reward(Foundation Chest) can be obtain by ranking up. For example I am in Bronze league with 260 rating, if i continously win and reach 1000 rating I will ne rank up to silver. Whats happens now that I am in Silver league is I will greeted with a Foundation Chest! The photo below explains what can we get and our chances. Rewards after rewards, thats how generous Splinterlands is!
