CORRUPTED HEALING AND UNLEASHING POISON COMBO

Hello Splintermates and Fellow Hiveans,

Happy Hallow's Fall. This week Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! i am going to share " CORRUPTED HEALING AND UNLEASHING POISON COMBO " where a near death unit was bring back to life while the riendly team unleashes poison to a very strong opponent which i got a lucky win.

THE BATTLE

This battle is a 69 mana battle with unprotected and taking sides battle ruleset. My opponent uses a strong dragon team using akane as his archon summoning a water and dragon team while i used cryptic as my archon to summon water and death team . My combination of play in here is to used cryptic added ability poison to two friendly units and adding archane weaver for its corrupted heealing which was part of the strategy in this battle - prolonging friendly life while the team unleashing poison.

1. CRYPTIC - is a rebellion card dual water and death legendary archon. It is a 7 mana cards. It takes out -1 speed to all enemy units and provide blind to all enemy units from the start of the battle. It also gives added two type of tactics , first option is to give enfeeble, -1 to targets melee power after each succesful attack and retalliate - 50% chance to counter melee attack even after being defeated. Cryptic second tactic is poison - provides 50% chance to provide poison after succesful attack. Poison units will lose 2 health at the beginning of each round . And expose - provide 80% chance to remove forcefield, lookout, deflect, shield, void, void armor, cleanse or immunity after succesful attack.

2. COMMANDER SLADE - is a 10 mana water rare rebellion soulbound reward card. At level 8 it has 5 melee attack, 7 armor, 10 health and 6 speed. It has also enfeeble, dodge, deflect and backfire ability. Its high health, heavy armor, 6 speed and dodge ability makes him a very good tank sometimes they called him tha tank that can not be hit because often times the slow enemy misses to hit him. It is very good in weak magic,lost magic, up close and personal , melee mayhem and super sneak ruleset. In this battle i used him as a tank.

3. GIANT ALPINE SKINK- is a 8 mana common water rebellion soubound card. At level 10 it has 4 melee,3 armor, 9 health and 5 speed. It also has 3 abilities: shield ability (50% less damage (rounded up) from physical attacks or 0 damage from physical attacks of 1 power), phase ability (magic attacks have the same chance to miss as physical attacks ) and stun ability (50% chance to apply Stunned for one round after a successful attack. Stunned units skip their turn and cannot Retaliate). In this battle i used him as secondary tank to counter against magic for its phase ability.

4. HELHEIM DEMON - helheim demon is 10 mana rare rebellion death card. At maxed level it has 3 magic attack, 4 armor, 10 health and 4 speed. It also has 4 abilities; flying (+25% chance to evade physical attacks. No effect if the attacker also has Flying. Immune to Earthquake.), taunt ability (Draws the attacks of enemy units. Does not affect Reach, Scattershot, Wingbreak, or enemy units in the first position), corrossive ward ability (-2 to attacker’s maximum armor when hit by a melee attack.) and cripple ability (-1 to target's max health after each successful attack. Does not affect units with Immunity).

5. MERIPUT SLINGER- is a 7 mana rare death rebellion soulbound reward card. At maxed level it has 4 ranged attack, 6 health and 3 speed. Meriput slinger also has 4 abilities; impede ability (-1 to target's speed after each successful attack), slow ability (-1 speed to all enemy units), deflect ability (All units have Deflect (0 damage from Blast splash damage and Punishment abilities) and redemption ability (When defeated, deals 1 physical damage to all enemy units)

6. BARON FYATT - is a legendary death and fire promo card monster. It is a 5 mana death and fire magic monster. At maxed level it has 2 magic attack, 6 health and 2 speed. Baron fyatt has 4 abilities; halving ability (-50% to targets power (rounded up) after a succesful attack, scattershot ability ( magic and ranged targets a random opponent), ambush ability (takes an extra turn prior to the first round of the battle) and blind ability (all enemy melee and ranged attacks had a 15% higher chance of missing their target. Blind also affects units with phase).

7. ARACHNE WEAVER - is an epic rebellion soulbound reward. It is 5 mana death magic monster with 2 magic, 7 health and 2 speed . Arachne Weaver has Corrupted Healing ability (Each round, restore 70% of max health (rounded down) to other allied units. Each time a unit is healed, its max health is reduced by 1), scavenger ability (+1 health and max health each time any unit is defeated.) and poison ability (50% chance to apply Poisoned after a successful attack. Poisoned units lose 2 health at the beginning of each round.)

In this 69 mana battle with unprotected and taking sides battle ruleset against a very strong opponent where i got a lucky win, my strategy and positioning is to used cryptic as my archon that is to benefit from its added poison ability to two friendly units while introducing arachne weaver in the last position for his corrupted healing ability. I then use commander slade as my main tank with giant alpine skink as secondary tank . I used two tank due to unprotected ruleset then i used helheim demon in third position as taunt, meriput slinger as fourth position and baron fyatt as in the 5th position with its scattershot and halfing ability plus the added poison from cryptic.
