¿Cómo conocí a Splinterlands? [Es/En]

¡Saludos comunidad! En esta oportunidad les hablaré un poco sobre mis inicios y experiencia en el interesante mundo de Splinterlands.

Les mencionaré cómo descubrí Splinterlands, en aquella época cuando los juegos web3 estaban en su auge, y de qué forma participo actualmente en el juego.

Espero que este aporte les sea de utilidad para su día a día en el proyecto.

En el Boom de los juegos cripto en el año 2021, estuve buscando entre los tantos proyectos que existían para iniciar en alguno, ya que estaba bastante interesado. Para ese entonces, uno de los juegos más populares era “Axie Infinity" pero requería de una inversión un poco elevada para iniciar, lo que no se ajustaba a mi presupuesto. Además de eso, en vista de que los juegos cripto era un área pionera en ese entonces, había que buscar y evaluar los proyectos con lupa, ya que muchos se convirtieron en estafa.

Después de semanas de búsqueda, encontré tres canales en Youtube que hablaban sobre un juego de cartas coleccionables llamado “Splinterlands”. En el cual, las cartas son NFTs y puedes usarlas para jugar, tradear con ellas e incluso ganar Tokens que podías usar para comerciar dentro del juego y generar alguna ganancia.

Splinterlands llamó mucho mi atención para ese entonces, ya que me pareció un juego con una esencia sencilla pero con un potencial inmenso. Por lo que decidí continuar documentándome más sobre el proyecto para posteriormente iniciar en él en el mes de agosto del año 2021.

Por otra parte, he tenido cientos de batallas interesantes, experimentando cada nuevo meta que surge cuando se incorporan nuevas cartas al juego.

Desde hace unos años, y actualmente, dedico parte de mi tiempo en Splinterlands a compartir mis experiencias batallando, a través de los concursos semanales de Splinterlands, lo cual disfruto mucho. También participo regularmente en las batallas de clanes, y paulatinamente en el modo Ranked.

In the Boom of crypto games in 2021, I was looking among the many projects that existed to start one of them, as I was quite interested. By that time, one of the most popular games was "Axie Infinity" but it required a bit high investment to start, which didn't fit my budget. On top of that, in view of the fact that crypto gaming was a pioneering area back then, you had to search and evaluate projects with a magnifying glass, as many turned out to be scams.

After weeks of searching, I found three YouTube channels that talked about a collectible card game called "Splinterlands". In which, the cards are NFTs and you can use them to play, trade with them and even earn Tokens that you could use to trade within the game and generate some profit.

Splinterlands caught my attention at that time, as it seemed to me a game with a simple essence but with immense potential. So I decided to continue documenting more about the project to later start on it in the month of August 2021.

On the other hand, I have had hundreds of interesting battles, experiencing every new meta that arises when new cards are incorporated into the game.

Since a few years ago, and currently, I dedicate part of my time in Splinterlands to share my experiences battling, through the weekly Splinterlands contests, which I enjoy very much. I also participate regularly in clan battles, and gradually in Ranked mode.
