The Fortune Draw Impact On The Game Economy

avatar

In this video, I discuss the how the introduction of Fortune Draws for the Yaba's Pickle promo card impacted the game economy. I specifically look at the vouchers and DEC burned in order to create the necessary Fortune Draw tickets that were used for the promo sale. The numbers may not be high, but over time I do think they play a significant role and as we see more promo cards coming from the Voucher promo cards I think this can really ramp up. Personally, I just love seeing how interconnected the entire Splinterlands ecosystem is now with cards, land, and items.

This is quite interesting, I bought my pickles in the initial event and didn't participate in this one, but loved your analysis. Great info in your videos as always!

Even, if this is not a big chuck of dec is still good to have that mechanic to reduce some dec in circulation!

Just to be sure, I looked again at the pickle event's original post to confirm that DEC was not burned when crafting the items and was instead split between Splinterlands and DAO. I should also have tagged you in this post as it has the total numbers from all the vouchers used throughout all the events that take place while Tasoshi was available in the voucher shop.
