Ivette, A Gaze as Sweet and Bright as Honey.

What's up my people happy Tuesday to all and I hope you are having a great day, today I want to share Ivette, A Look as Sweet as Honey, and here I try to practice a little with the application of stronger and deeper strokes to build a voluminous better and above all much more realistic in areas such as skin and hair. I started this drawing with light tones and little by little I increased the saturation to try to create a much more contrasted drawing with a mixture of intense nuances; This was made a bit easier for me thanks to a couple of brushes that I decided to try for this work.

Que pasa mi gente feliz martes para todos y espero estén teniendo un excelente día, hoy les quiero compartir Ivette, Una Mirada tan Dulce y brillante Como la Miel, y aquí trato de practicar un poco con la aplicación de trazos más fuertes y profundo para construir un voluminado mejor y sobretodo mucho más realista en zonas como la piel y el cabello. Empecé este dibujo con tonalidades claras y poco a poco fui subiendo la saturación para tratar de crear un dibujo mucho más contrastado y con mezcla de matices intensas; esto se me facilito un poco gracias a un par de pinceles que decidí probar para esta obra.

PROCESS / PROCESO

The sketch I decided to start it as a kind of portrait since it is one of the sketches that I find easier, I decided to create Ivette with a pose like crossed arms, with a quite long and wavy hair, but above all with a sweet and confident look and expression on her face. As I said before this is a work in which I started the painting with light tones and on that base I went up and scaling shades of color, as in this case of the skin where I used a light pink and then I was adding strokes on that color to mix them a little.

El boceto decidí iniciarlo como una especie de retrato ya que es de los bocetos que más se me facilitan, decidí crear a Ivette con una pose como de brazos cruzados, con un cabello bastante alargado y ondulado, pero sobretodo con una mirada y expresión dulce y confiada en su rostro. Como dije antes esta es una obra en la que comencé el pintado con tonalidades claras y sobre esa base fui subiendo y escalando matices de color, como en este caso de la piel donde empleé un rosado claro y luego fui añadiendo trazos sobre ese color para irlos mezclando un poco.

After finishing with the base of the skin I decided to create a special layer to paint a little blush on the cheeks, I did this to print a more feminine touch to her expression and the airbrush helped me a lot in this section. After finishing with the blush the next thing I did was to paint the lips and for this I used a pretty intense scarlet red; after finishing with the lips I moved on to painting the eyes and for them I made a mixture of yellow tones with white to build a special shine in both eyes.

Luego de terminar con la base de la piel decidí crear una capa especial para pintar un poco de rubor en las mejillas, esto lo hice para imprimir un toque un poco más femenino a su expresión y el pincel aerógrafo me ayudó mucho en este apartado. Luego de terminar con el rubor lo siguiente que hice fue ir pintado los labios y para esto use un rojo escarlata bastante intenso; luego de terminar con los labios me pase al pintado de los ojos y para ellos realice una mezcla de tonos amarillos con el color blanco para construir un brillo especial en ambos ojos.

The next step in the coloring process of my work was the application of colors to Ivette's clothes, this time I decided to create a kind of loose blouse because I wanted the work to have that special touch of elegance; for this I used a chocolate brown base color and little by little with a flat brush I made thick strokes to establish a little shape and texture of the blouse; then to finish it better I added very dark tones to give it a little more depth and shadows to this section.

El siguiente paso en el proceso de coloreado de mi obra fue el de aplicación de colores a la ropa de Ivette, esta vez decidí crear una especie e blusa algo holgada pues quería que la obra tuviera ese toque especial como de elegancia; para esto use una tonalidad base marrón chocolatoso y poco a poco con un pincel plano fui realizando trazos gruesos para establecer un poco de forma y la textura de la blusa; luego para terminarla mejor añadí tonos muy oseros para darle un poco más de profundidad y sombras a este apartado.

The hair was the section where I think I took more time because I wanted to achieve a good level of detail and above all realism and for this I started using a brush with a defined tip as the watercolor brush to achieve a little softness in the upper strokes over the lower ones. Then with a mixture of three brushes I determined the wavy shape of the hair while I was blurring to join all the relief of the hair; finally with a fine brush I created some lines of glitter to achieve a good volume for Ivette's hair.

El cabello fue el apartado donde creo que más me demoré pues quise lograr un buen nivel de detalle y sobretodo de realismo y para esto empecé usando un pincel de punta definida como lo es el pincel acuarela para al mismo tiempo lograr un poco de suavidad en los trazos superiores sobre los de más abajo. Luego con una mezcla de tres pincele fui determinado la forma ondulada del pelo mientras iba difuminando para juntar todo el relieve del cabello; finalmente con un pincel fino cree algunas linear de brillos para lograr un buen volumen para el pelo de Ivette.

Finally, and with Ivette totally finished the only thing I had left to do was to create a good background to go with the character, and that's why I went a little crazy XD and decided to use several different brushes and above all colors in different scales; first I created a base for the background with a mix of orange, red, brown and yellow tones. After establishing that first base and mixing it the next thing I did was to use a brush with a confetti tip to print some special texture to the background, this while at the same time I created a sphere behind Ivette; to finish I gave some texture to the sphere and also painted some dark cracks complementing the background.

Finalmente, y con Ivette totalmente terminado lo único que me quedaba por hacer era el crear un buen fondo para acompañar al personaje, y es por ello que me volví un poco loco XD y decidí usar varios pinceles diferente y sobretodo colores en diferentes escalas; primero plasmé una base para el fondo con mezcla de tonos naranja, rojo, marrón y amarillo. Luego de establecer esa primera base y de mezclarla lo siguiente que hice fue usar un pincel con punta de confeti para imprimir un poco de textura especial al fondo, esto mientras al mismo tiempo creaba una esfera detrás de Ivette; ya para culminar le di un poco de textura a la esfera y además pinte algunas grietas oscuras haciendo complemento al fondo.
