Retirement Plan with Cryptocurrency and Web 3

Hi guys, now I'm not an old person, I'm in my middle 20s so talking about retirement is quite interesting to me. The interesting thing is that we are never too old to think about retirement and how our lives will be loved when we're too old to work actively for money.

Retirement planning exists because people age and get to a point where they can't Work with youthful energy. But for me Personally I think we shouldn't think of retirement just because we will age but as a means of investing and growing your finances to a point where you don't have to work actively to make money. Of course, work is really good if you're doing something you love or something that brings positive impact to other people.

The truth of our present world is that retirement planning has changed significantly. It used to be all about saving money and investing in typical things like stocks and real estate or building a company. But these days, there is a whole new world opening up and there's a real high chance that anyone reading this is not oblivion of this new concept or technology.

Yep, I'm talking about cryptocurrencies and Web3 platforms. Cryptocurrency and Web has me thinking about retirement in a completely different way now.

You probably already know a lot about cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum and our very own Hive token.

No doubt it's crypto and can be volatile but they’ve also been known to make some serious gains over time as well.

Me personally I love to deal with Hive because although it's also a crypto, the entire Blockchain it's built on makes it a bit more stable in my opinion than the other cryptos.

And let's be honest, since traditional investments such as stocks sometimes fail to keep pace with inflation rates, maybe it is a good idea to think of having some crypto in the mix right guys.

Web3 is another story too and I may be a bit over 1 month old on my first Web3, Hive but I've learned so much about it I really understand the great value of Web3 platforms.

One of the best benefits of Web3 is the return of authority to ordinary people like myself (for now, hehehe).

Web3 can let you take charge of your own finances and your own personal information. It wil set you free financially in a way that you never imagined.

Imagine growing old after working for years gathering your retirement money and having so much control of it's use and investments, that's exactly what cryptocurrency and platforms like Hive will give to you.

For me personally I'm hoping for Hive to not only stay permanently in our world but grow huge because I can only imagine the kind of freedom and control over my finances I would with huge Hive power and lots of old friends.

So by getting introduced to cryptocurrency and Web3 like Hive, my retirement planning has really changed and a bigger portion of my plan is around Web 3 and well stable cryptocurrencies.

But there’s one thing about it that makes it even more interesting, passive income. You can earn while sleeping through cryptocurrencies.

With Hive, there's so many different passive income strategies and my favorite is HBD Savings and delegations to Ecency. At the moment, my HP is not too huge to have a substantial delegation so I'm focusing more on RC and engagement to grow a bigger HP to delegate.

Ideally having a huge HP on Hive is a really good thing because I see upvoting quality content as part of passive incomes since it's very very easy to do.

Staking or lending, as it is called, is basically making your crypto work for you in essence. Imagine being rich in the morning because your capital did overnight? Sounds cool isn’t it?

Yes, risks are definitely involved, of course that's why crypto investments should be done with knowledge and good advice from experience Crypto investors. Like I said earlier, I prefer stable coins which is why I really love the HBD and if I don't have it as HBD, I have it as USDT.

To be honest, I barely have traditional money in the bank right now... Most of my cash is in USDT because it's basically USD in crypto form. It's pegged to the dollar so it's stable coin.

I am fully aware that cryptocurrencies may be erratic and money might just vanish one day. And yeah, the entire Web3 thing is still quite new in the early stages, so who knows what the future holds? But that's how Facebook, YouTube and Instagram used to be an now they are giant platforms. I strongly believe that's the future of Web3 and Hive.

I am very enthusiastic about the potentials. Retirement must not be about survival only but it should also be about having a quality life.as well.Therefore, if these cryptocurrencies and Web3 are capable of helping me to achieve my aim, then I am fully in.

So what is my plan you might ask? Well, I will do some more research, keep myself informed and possibly try out crypto trading although that's one investment model I'm very careful about stepping into. I will not jump in completely, that would be insane without knowledge and experienced mentors. However, I am ready to risk and see where it leads me in the future

Who knows? Maybe someday, I’ll look back and realize that I made a good decision. But time will tell best on this issue only because let's be honest, no one can predict retirement with certainty. Nevertheless, one thing remains clear, the future's retirement is shining brighter than ever before With Cryptocurrency and Web3.
