If Smiles Could Pay the Bills

Sometimes, I wonder if a lot of things can really take a U-turn for just a moment, just like entering a cab in my city any time I want to get down, I smile to the driver in exchange for cash. I smiled at the food seller, and she said, "This is your smile, Dave; it is worth your breakfast, lunch, and dinner" That looks weird, right? Yeah, I know this, but maybe that type of situation will snap me and you back to reality.

My country would have been transformed into a different place entirely if our emotions were currency.Our laughter and smiles would be gold. The way we are being nice to others would be comfort. And if you are the selfish, angry, and greedy type, that is going to leave you penniless no matter the amount of money you might have. And this would be so great because most of these politicians will come back to their senses when there is no room for them to embezzle money and give fake promises and lies.

I think if we can snap to that type of world, a lot of people would be forced to do what is right because their senses will be normal because a lot of people will learn the hard way, which will make them poor for treating others less, cheating others, mocking the less privileged, or trying to steal. And those little acts of kindness and appreciation will make us have human feelings, which will make us wealthy.

Yet, I am surprised... Will a lot of people start wearing the chameleon skin and be forcing themselves to show happiness to earn more money? Maybe, but just in due time, that fake expression will eventually turn into something real because I have seen how effectively emotions play on us. And maybe if I could walk into anywhere and smile at the cashier, maybe our world will be a better place to live.
