Hello my Fellow Summoners of @splinterlands community, It's me again @zionazrael and I will share to you my Art work of Skeletal warrior.
For those who are not familiar with this card, I included the card's picture and the lore of Skeletal Warrior.

SKELETAL WARRIOR a RARE Death Unit Lore

Some Dark Eternals remain in their Skeletal form after the flesh has eroded longer than expected. Many of these are eventually promoted, given armor and weaponry, and sent to the front lines of the latest war. Their shields are embedded with dark matter, which strikes fear into the living.

Steps by Step process of my Artwork

Sketch

If you saw my previous Splinterlands Fan art I did my sketch on the android app but This time I did my Sketch on my sketchbook using a simple pencil.

Outline

After making the sketch of Skeletal warrior I uploaded the picture to Medibang App (Android App that I am using for my arts) to start tracing the outline.

This is the ouline of my Skeletal Warrior Art.

Coloring

I made some changes on my process, this time I colored every parts first before putting the shadows and highlights.

First I colored the bones with gray.

Then I colored the scarf in red.

Then I colored the gaps of the ribs in dark gray.

The color I put was not good so I decided to change it,
I replace the color of the bones to light purple.

Then I replaced the gaps color to black.
I know I can just removed The other pictures on this post but I decided to keep it to show the difference between them and my trouble in this process.😅

Then I started coloring the armor on the shoulder and arm and the Skull detail on the shield because its the same color as the armor.

Then I colored the rest of the parts and the weapon.

This is what it look like with a simple background.

Detailing

• Shadows and highlights

Detailing Process

In my Detailing process or technique that I used here is putting the shadows and dark outlines first then putting highlights as a finish touch.
I only used to colors in this process with 15% to 20% Opacity.
Black color for the shades and shadows
White color for the highlights.

I began my detailing on the head, put shadows or shade and finish it with the highlights.

Then I added details on the ribs, for me this is the most difficult part because I needed to put shades and highlights on every single rib.

Then I started detailing the armor on the shoulder.

After that I put coloration details on the armor in the hand and the shield.

Then I added details on the weapon and the leather part of the arm armor.

Then I detailed the lower part of the body and the belt.
I also erased some colors on the gaps of the ribs.

Then I added details on the armor on the knees.

Then I added details on the red scarf.

This is what it looks like after finish the details without background.

Background

Explanation

I come up with this kind of background. My Idea is create a background with a war zone scenery and dark clouds and added some light effect that will look like the lights coming from the sun. I know I can just get some backgrounds from the internet and edit that to be my background which is also good, But I stick with the Idea of Originality and even if my background may not look good I can proudly say that this is My Art, My Idea, My Work!
