The Curse of Crypto is it's Blessing

In this bear season, crypto traders are really worried as most of them are seeing the crypto space go against it's normal trends and patterns.

While the financial market is clearly unpredictable, financial analysts, especially, during technical analysis, holds on to previous trends overtime as a yardstick to predict future movement and direction of the financial market.

However, the crypto market is highly volatile like a gaseous element, and previous trends may not always, accurately predict the future of an asset. This instability - a curse; is also crypto's blessing.

Volatility is basically the rate at which the price of an asset fluctuates

For cryptocurrency traders and HODLERs, volatility is not a new thing, but that doesn't mean that we have developed the best way of reacting to it when it occurs.

As humans, highly intelligent and emotional, it is still difficult for most of us to deal with losses, so when the volatility tilts the price of crypto against our desire, we develop anxiety and worry if it will ever get better.

I can't guarantee much, but I can only reassure you and all crypto traders and HODLERs that volatility is not more a curse than a blessing.

Volatility is a good thing

The truth is good times are usually short-lived, still, good times will always come. The good times for most of us are the bull periods.

As long as there's nothing fundamentally wrong in a crypto project, it's expected that a coin will always bounce back at some point, but at what point? We can't say, but at some point.

Hive for example is a decentralized system, meaning that no ill decision of a single person may severely hurt the Blockchain as it's no one's property. So, unlike the Luna (UST) disaster earlier this year, a bear on Hive can never mean total losses.

The volatile nature of crypto means that in few days or years, you can so much money (or inversely, lose so much). All you have to do is make the right decisions. Are you the type that keeps hoping for an all-time high? Or are you the impatient type that sells your assets at market value and at any point in time? We have to be strategic and even more, apply a lot of discretion when handling finance including crypto.

So

Trust the Blockchain, trust the currency, and trust the community. Soon enough, we will all smile to the fiat!
