Toward a Fairer System
The perfect is the enemy of the good. As uniptimal as capitalistic systems can be, there is also the choice aspect. At the end of the day you can choose who to work for and who to buy from, and that actually puts a ton of power in the hands of the little people.
I know that isn't perfect and you need assistance for people and the poor and stuff.
I think the euros have this figured out pretty well, they took out system and made a better slightly more socialist version of our system, with proper tax rates, maybe they overtax some things, and their products can be expensive, but still they have mostly figured it out.
Germany goes a little far with the forced contracts and state backed unions and stuff, but you want to have paid time off, weeks of vacation, (people need it) just to have kids if nothing else, and also we should balance the budget to get rid of inflation so we can have an actual functioning pension system, so people don't have to tie their retirements up in the stock market, making us hostages to big finance and big money
Should probably break up real estate a bit because it's always getting inflated
It screws up inflation too when you have really high housing and land prices.
