The Chaotic Art of War Pegasus: From Sketch to Masterpiece

Hey everyone! Today, I’m taking you on a wild ride through my reinterpretation of War Pegasus, from a humble sketch to a visual explosion in my chaotic and maximalist style. Buckle up—this is gonna be a wild one!

Paso 1: Sketch Tradicional, La Base del Caos

Arrancamos en cartulina con un creyón. Me encanta la textura porque le da un toque crudo y expresivo. A lo bestia, sin miedo, dejando que la línea fluya como un relámpago en plena tormenta creativa.

Step 1: Traditional Sketch, The Foundation of Chaos

We start on cardstock with a crayon. I love the texture because it gives a raw and expressive touch. No fear, no hesitation—just letting the lines flow like lightning in the middle of a creative storm.

Paso 2: Digitalizando el Ritmo

Foto tomada y directo a Krita. Acá viene la magia del Lineart: desaturamos, limpiamos, y boom, tenemos el esqueleto digital de War Pegasus listo para ser llevado al siguiente nivel.

Step 2: Digitizing the Rhythm

Photo taken and straight to Krita. Here comes the magic of line art: we desaturate, clean up, and boom—we’ve got the digital skeleton of War Pegasus ready to level up.

Paso 3: Colores, Capas y el Caos Organizado

Ahora es donde empieza la locura. Creamos tres capas y cada una recibe un tratamiento distinto: color plano, texturas y efectos. Uno de mis favoritos en esta fase fue el Filtro Crystal, porque le da un dinamismo brutal. Al final, las capas se mezclan con el lineado, creando ese estilo cargado y vibrante que ya es mi sello.

Step 3: Colors, Layers, and Organized Chaos

Now the madness begins. We create three layers, each treated differently: flat colors, textures, and effects. One of my favorites in this phase was the Crystal Filter—it adds insane dynamism. In the end, the layers merge with the line art, creating that dense and vibrant style that has become my signature.

Paso 4: No Perdamos al Pegaso en el Infierno Abstracto

Aquí viene el reto: reforzar las líneas clave con el Mouse para que el Pegasus no se pierda entre la tormenta visual. Este paso es crucial para que el espectador aún pueda reconocer la figura dentro del torbellino de formas y colores.

Step 4: Don't Let Pegasus Get Lost in the Abstract Inferno

Here comes the challenge: reinforcing key lines with your mouse so Pegasus doesn’t disappear into the visual storm. This step is crucial to ensuring the viewer can still recognize the figure within the whirlwind of shapes and colors.

Paso 5: Pulimos y Afinamos

Ahora jugamos con las herramientas digitales de Krita: pinceles, modos de fusión y un poco de descontrol. Esparcir color, ajustar detalles, darle ese feeling orgánico pero digital al mismo tiempo.

Step 5: Refining and Polishing

Now we play with Krita’s digital tools: brushes, blending modes, and a bit of controlled chaos. Spreading color, adjusting details—giving it that organic yet digital feel.

Paso 6: AI Diffusion, El Toque Final

Para cerrar con broche de oro, aplico AI Diffusion en Krita, pero al mínimo, porque aquí la IA solo viene a hacer de asistente y no a robarse la obra. Ajustes finales y... ¡BOOM! War Pegasus está listo para tomar vuelo.

Step 6: AI Diffusion, The Final Touch

To top it off, I apply AI Diffusion in Krita, but at a minimum—because here, AI is just an assistant, not the artist. Final adjustments and… BOOM! War Pegasus is ready to take flight.

Conclusión: El Arte es Caos, pero con Ritmo
