Sabre Shark- Splinterlands Art Contest SPT W-339, Digital Art

Hello everyone! It's a pleasure to reconnect with you and welcome you to a new post. Today I'm excited to share my latest work, which I created for the @splinterlands art contest, issue 339. This time, I decided to draw inspiration from one of the game's most intriguing characters: Saber Shark. Well, after a little research on this card, I can tell you that Saber Sharks can smell potential prey underwater from a mile away, and their prey never hear them approaching. Although these sharks are highly concentrated in ΛZMΛRÉ, they can be found anywhere in the Sprinkle Lands. These sharks are quite deadly, but they are fifty times smaller than their cousin, the megalodon.

¡Hola a todos! Es un placer volver a conectarme con ustedes y darles la bienvenida a una nueva publicación. Hoy estoy emocionada de compartir mi más reciente obra, que he creado para el concurso de arte de @splinterlands, número 339. Esta vez decidí inspirarme en uno de los personajes más intrigantes del juego: Sabre Shark. Bueno investigando un poco de esta carta les puedo decir que Los tiburones sable pueden oler una presa potencial bajo el agua a una milla de distancia, y sus presas nunca los oyen acercarse. Aunque estos tiburones están muy concentrados en ΛZMΛRÉ, se pueden encontrar en cualquier lugar de las Tierras Asperjadas. Estos tiburones son bastante letales, pero son cincuenta veces más pequeños que su primo, el megalodón.
A lo largo de este post, les mostraré un vistazo a mi proceso creativo, desde las primeras ideas hasta la ilustración final. Todo el arte digital que he realizado para esta ilustración fue creado utilizando FireAlpaca, un software de dibujo que ofrece una versión gratuita y que resulta ser una herramienta muy versátil para artistas digitales.
El proceso creativo comenzó con un boceto inicial en el que plasmé mis ideas sobre el personaje de Sabre Shark. Una vez que estuve satisfecha con la composición, procedí a realizar el delineado, asegurándome de capturar todos los detalles que hacen a este personaje tan singular.
A continuación, pasé a la fase de coloración. Comencé aplicando color primeramente Sabre Shark y luego al fondo con las olas y la niebla oscura y verdosa. Para darle más profundidad a la ilustración, trabajé en las sombras y las zonas iluminadas utilizando un pincel de acuarela, lo que permitió que los colores se fundieran de manera natural y fluida.
Este viaje creativo ha sido muy gratificante, y estoy entusiasmada por compartir el resultado final con todos ustedes. ¡Espero que lo disfruten!
All the digital art I created for this illustration was created using FireAlpaca, a drawing software that offers a free version and proves to be a very versatile tool for digital artists.
The creative process began with an initial sketch in which I captured my ideas for the Sabre Shark character. Once I was satisfied with the composition, I proceeded to outline it, making sure to capture all the details that make this character so unique.
Next, I moved on to the coloring phase. I began by applying color first with Sabre Shark and then to the background with the waves and the dark, greenish fog. To give the illustration more depth, I worked in the shadows and highlights using a watercolor brush, which allowed the colors to blend naturally and smoothly.
This creative journey has been very rewarding, and I'm excited to share the final result with all of you. I hope you enjoy it!
