Ceiyea , Myphlosion Hero - Design for the video game
Hi, Triz here! How are you tonight?
The Cyclops woman is finally here, this is part of the game designs, it's the most recent thing I've drawn, I've been working on it for a few weeks, I want to talk a little more about the character and how the process of creation.
It was almost ready about a week ago but I had some problems with the background of the drawing and when I finished it, a few days passed until I got the answer that it was approved 😊.
Brief story of the character.
Ceiyea, the primeval singularity – Bleak Fjords, Goenger.
Type: hero
Class: Archer
Ceiyea has been seen as a wonderful anomaly since the day of her birth, her mother died giving birth to more of her, however her father always saw her as a blessing for his family. Cyclops giants are not common at all and make up just under 1% of the Myphlosions population, however contrary to common belief, Ceiyea is not a cyclops and itself makes up an even smaller minority as it is the only giant with a third eye, she was born blind in both of her eyes, but her third eye on her forehead is her only means of vision. Anyone would believe that Ceiyea has less vision than an average living being, but it is not an obstacle at all, since she is, without a doubt, the best archer in all of Zeo. Her given mission as sister nemesis: destroy the remaining Lorelian settlements on Eole.

Yes! This was the beginning of everything, it is nothing like the final one, but yes hahaah !-. With these characters in particular they have been very flexible and I can add to improve things. After analyzing the script they sent me, I made several ideas trying to interpret what they wanted and this one was approved.
The next step was to add some base colors, just to get an idea, I used a normal brush and I was designing the clothes a bit. As you have seen, I was following the sketch. I was thinking and the sunset would be good to complement what I was looking for.
Although the character's clothing was not like that, the essence of what they asked for is still there, I just modified it and added some details that I thought were necessary. To make the skin I used the same brush with which I made the girl with the mechanical arm. But this was only the beginning because I still needed to detail the muscles and add other things.
Here I made several advances in terms of clothing and the girl's face was relatively ready. But there were also changes, one of them was the head, at one point when I flipped the canvas horizontally, I realized that the head was very low and the neck was not visible, that happens but when the perspective is a little more extreme and I I didn't want that, so I changed it. Doing the tattoos was a lot of fun for me.
The character was not difficult to make and at this point he was almost ready, he just had to finish the arc and do some small details. As for the background of the drawing, that was another story. There was something that did not convince me of everything he had done at the beginning, the sketches are always the idea but I can change them and that is what he is about to do.
Yes! everything changed.! It seemed to me that this was going to tell her story a little more and finally it was going to differentiate that she was a giant and not a woman of normal size as it seemed in the previous steps. Even so! I wanted the sunset.
Final Result
For the end, I finally made the background and finished adding some details to her body, I also changed the colors a bit and added some lighting that came from the environment. Some broken things, dead warriors and the mountains, that's what the background is.
I'm trying to get better at the things that make my life difficult 😆 and the background is one of those things that I need to improve on.
