The first thing that you have to do is research, which also applies to the cryptocurrency market as well. Look at the model that they share, the whitepaper, reviews ask around in the trading communities particularly in Discord and Telegram. Assess it's floor price and the market cap in on various trading platforms.

Secondly follow them on various social networks like twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc. Try to know the folks behind the project, how reliable is their reputation in real life.

Third, and lastly follow major NFT marketplaces like OpenSea and AtomicHub, you can also check third party sites like Rarity for listing and ratings of NFTs.
