Social Media Challenge || Croire
Hi, everyone. Welcome to my post. In the Social Media Challenge, I will discuss anything about SPLINTERLANDS, it can be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.
In this post, I will share my experience using Croire level 4.

Continuing to talk about REBELLION units, I will discuss Croire. Croire is an Epic unit of the earth element with 3 abilities and already gets 2 at the beginning of the level.
At level 1, Croire already has the WEAPONS TRAINING and FLANK
abilities. WEAPONS TRAINING
is an ability that will give Attack power to No-Attack units that are nearby. Unfortunately in the case of Croire, it can only provide the Attack with power to 1 No-Attack unit because Croire itself is a Melee unit that can only attack if it is in the first position.
On the bright side, Croire also already has the FLANK ability at first level. FLANK
is an ability that grants REACH
ability to the unit in the position after it. So No-Attack units that previously received Attack power from WEAPONS TRAINING
ability can attack the target together with Croire.
At the fourth level, Croire received his last ability (HEAL). HEAL is an ability to heal oneself. The ability is quite useful for Croire which is a unit in the first position that is almost often the target of attacks from the opponent's units.
Battle
The ruleset for this battle is MANEUVERS (all monsters in the arena receive an additional REACH
ability), NEED FOR SPEED
(Only units that have 3 or more SPEED can be used in this ruleset), and WEAK MAGIC
(Attacks from magic units will hit ARMOR first)
In the first round, Regal Peryton was forced to direct his attacks at Mycelic Slipspawn because he had the TAUNT ability. However, Mycelic Slipspawn was healed by Uloth Dhampir. Uloth Dhampir along with Naga Assassin, Mycelic Slipspawn, and Lurking Puffer attacked Pelacor Mercenary. Unfortunately, Lurking Puffer got counterattacked by Pelacor Mercenary through the RETALIATE
ability. Croire also actually tried to attack Pelacor Mercenary but her attack missed. Meanwhile, The Infiltrator attacked Acid Shooter.
Mycelic Slipspawn received attacks from Iza the Fanged and Venari Seedsmith. He also received poison effects from the attacks. Acid Shooter failed to land his attack on Lurking Puffer. Meanwhile, Pelacor Mercenary healed his HP and attacked Croire along with Junker.
In the second round, Mycelic Slipspawn's HP was reduced by 2 points due to the poison effect he received in the previous round. Then he also received an attack from Regal Peryton. Uloth Dhampir then healed Mycelic Slipspawn, but he failed to land an attack on Pelacor Mercenary.
Pelacor Mercenary can be defeated by attacks from Naga Assassin, Mycelic Slipspawn, and Croire (Croire had time to heal himself before making the attack). The Infiltrator also managed to defeat Acid Shooter using his first attack. Meanwhile, his second attack was directed at Venari Seedsmith.
Iza the Fanged and Venari Seedsmith defeated Mycelic Slipspawn. Meanwhile, Junker attacked Croire.
In the third round, Dhampir Infiltrator attacked Venari Seedsmith twice. Uloth Dhampir who previously healed Lurking Puffer attacked Junker together with Naga Assassin and successfully defeated him.
Regal Peryton attacks Croire but he heals himself again. Croire and Lurking Puffer attack Iza the Fanged. Venari Seedsmith attacks Croire and gives her a poison effect.
In the fourth round, Croire lost due to the effects of the poison she received in the previous round. Dhampir Infiltrator defeated Venari Seedsmith. Iza the Fanged was also defeated by attacks from Naga Assassin and Uloth Dhampir. Regal Peryton and Lurking Puffer attacked each other.
Despite defeating Lurking Puffer, Regal Peryton can still be defeated by Naga Assassin and Dhampir Infiltrator.
Battle Review
In my opinion, Croire is a pretty good unit because of his WEAPONS TRAINING and FLANK
abilities. It makes No-Attack able to attack the opponent's unit that is in the first position with him.
Unfortunately, he does not have enough protection to withstand the onslaught of attacks from the opponent. He doesn't have SHIELD or VOID
that can reduce damage, and he doesn't even have ARMOR at all so he needs a unit that has PROTECT
ability so he can get ARMOR.
In this battle, I had to bring Mycelic Slipspawn which has the TAUNT ability so that Croire would not become the main target of the opponent. With Mycelic Slipspawn, the attacks from the opponent can be divided and not focused on Croire.
Those are the kinds of things I discussed in this Social Media Challenge. Thank you for reading to the end and see you in other discussions in next week's Social Media Challenge.

I haven't tried Rebellion cards other than the soulbound reward cards. He's a great tank and his abilities are useful. I'd like to have him in my deck.

If you play in MODERN RANKED, you should try REBELLION cards. Because in the next few months we will get the latest edition and CHAOS LEGION will no longer be used in MODERN RANKED.
Thinking if I should buy Conclave Arcana instead because soon it will be Rebellion that will move to Wild.

Yes, that's a good idea. It's better to rent REBELLION cards than to buy them.
