SHARE YOUR BATTLE ! WEEKLY CHALLENGE || Failed Summoner
Ruleset for this time is SUPER SNEAK and LITTLE LEAGUE with 12 mana. SUPER SNEAK is a situation where All Melee attack Monsters have the Sneak ability. LITTLE LEAGUE is a situation where Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.
My Line-Up
Cards | Ability | Reason |
---|---|---|
![]() | Give THORN ability to All Allies | With the Ruleset that gives SNEAK abilities to all Melee Monsters, making Mylor Crowling the right choice. With the THORN ability that he gives to all Monsters, it makes the opponent's Melee Monsters get 2 points of damage every time they attack my Monsters. |
![]() | Reflect (Lv1) | As far as I know, the opponent often uses Kelya Frendul plus a few Magic Monsters when encountering a LITTLE LEAGUE Ruleset. That's why I brought Failed Summoner which has the REFLECT ability to fend off attacks from Magic Monsters. |
![]() | Snipe (Lv1) | SNIPE is an ability that is devoted to attacking Range or Magic Monsters (also Monsters that don't have attacks) first. And since there is a possibility that the opponent will bring Range or Magic Monsters into the Battle Arena, then I assigned Child of the Forest to defeat them first. |
![]() | Sneak (Lv1) | Duty to defeat the opponent's monsters that are in the last position without having to destroy their ARMOR first. |
![]() | none (Lv1) | At first Mycelic Morphoid was just "Sacrificed Pawn" in this battle. However, because of the SUPER SNEAK Ruleset, Mycelic Morphoid gets the opportunity to attack the opposing Monster because now he is equipped with the SNEAK Ability. |
BATTLE START !!!
The opponent uses Kelya Frendul (give 1 Additional ARMOR and SPEED to All Allies) exactly as I expected. He also brings 2 Magic Monsters to the Battle Arena, and only brings 1 Melee Monster (while the rest are just Monsters that don't have attacks)
After all abilities are applied.....
Kelya Frendul's ability gives an additional 1 ARMOR and 1 SPEED to all of his Monsters. The opponent's monster does not give any additional Ability.
On my side, Mylor Crowling gives an additional ability in the form of THORN to all my Monsters. And my monster doesn't give any additional abilities.
In round 1, the opponent's Ice Pixie attacks Failed Summoner and hits him. But unfortunately, this attack activates Failed Summoner's REFLECT ability and causes Ice Pixie to get his own magic attack and then dies because it only has 1 Health Point.
River Nymph also almost suffered the same fate as Ice Pixie when attacking Failed Summoner. The difference is that River Nymph's Health Point still has 2 remaining after being affected by Failed Summoner's REFLECT.
The opposing monster that has not had a turn to attack (Hardy Stonefish) then attacks Mycelic Morphoid. However, because of the effect of THORN when attacking Mycelic Morphoid. Hardy Stonefish takes 2 points of damage (and it destroys his ARMOR)
On my side, Child of the Forest attacked the River Nymph and destroyed his ARMOR. Then followed by an attack from Goblin Sorcerer and Mycelic Morphoid who finally defeated River Nymph.
In round 2, Child of the Forest attacks Albatross and hits his ARMOR. Then the next attack comes from Goblin Sorcerer who attacks Hardy Stonefish and reduces his 1 Health Point.
On the other side, Hardy Stonefish again attacked Mycelic Morphoid and managed to defeat him. However, this must be paid dearly because the effect of THORN (when attacking Mycelic Morphoid) on his 1 remaining Health Point and Hardy Stonefish also died in this 2nd round.
In round 3, Forest of the Child tried to attack Albatross but failed because of the FLYING ability of Albatross. Then the next attack was made by Goblin Sorcerer to Albatross and managed to defeat him.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)
Yes, my strategy worked perfectly and according to my prediction. Because the opponent brings Magic Monster to the Battle Arena. I thought that the opponent only brought 1, but apparently the opponent brought 2 Magic Monsters. This makes my victory certain.
there will be no change for the future strategy....
Do you like Failed Summoner?
Yes, I like it. He can also be combined with Unicorn Mustang when dealing with Magic Monsters and is in the EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY Ruleset. Monsters with low Mana but at least able to withstand some attacks from Magic Monsters and return the attacks to their attackers.
That was my explanation of the battle using Failed Summoner in the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge this time. I thought the MVP this time would fall to Mylor Crowling again before I knew the opponent's monster, but it turned out that Failed Summoner was the MVP this time.

I'm still getting used to the new summoners. I don't like coming up against them, but I'm terrible at using them myself. I'm particularly bad with Fire splinter at level one since the beta starters got dropped, with any summoner. Any tips there?

Upvoted 👌 (Mana: 21/41) Liquid rewards.
to be honest i also rarely use fire splinter (especially Chaos Legion edition). I only use them when I'm in the NOXIOUS FUMES Ruleset (uses Living Lava as a Tanker and Scavo Chemist to remove poison, then put Forgotten One behind Living Lava)
Meanwhile, when I was in the LOST MAGIC Ruleset, I most likely used a water splinter with Kelya Frendul as the summoner.
I don't have Forgotten One. Just got Tusk the Wide in for the void, which is helping when I come up against the magic opponents. I'll bear that in mind for the noxious fumes ruleset. I've been struggling to remember which splinters have cleanse at level one. Water and Life are my usual go-to for that.
The only tip I can give is to save your battle (screenshot) when you lose against Fire Splinter. So you can find out what fire splinter they use, how they are placed, how much Mana and what Rulesets are in the battle.
This is the method used by fellow players when he plays games using a scholarship account.
Good thinking.
