UP TO ELEVEN



"All Monsters have the Amplify ability."

UP TO ELEVEN is a ruleset that grants certain abilities to all monsters in the battle arena. The ability given in UP TO ELEVEN is AMPLIFY. AMPLIFY is an ability to strengthen the effect of certain abilities. Abilities that get increased effects include THORN, RETURN FIRE, and MAGIC REFLECT.

The first thing you need to overcome this ruleset is to guess what strategy your opponent will use, then use a monster that has one of the abilities above against it. If the opponent uses Melee monsters, use THORNS, if the opponent uses Ranged monsters, use RETURN FIRE. And if the opponent uses Magic monsters, use MAGIC REFLECT.

However, the above method depends on what additional Ruleset accompanies UP TO ELEVEN. Sometimes opponents also read our strategy by not using one of the Attack types to avoid UP TO ELEVEN.

FIRE & REGRET

FIRE AND REGRET is a ruleset that gives additional abilities in the form of RETURN FIRE to all monsters in the battle arena. Ranged monsters are not recommended to be used in this ruleset (unless you want to utilize the MARTYR ability possessed by monsters such as Fungus Flinger or Venari Marksrat*).

With the FIRE AND REGRET ruleset and UP TO ELEVEN ruleset, certainly, Ranged monsters cannot be used because the effect of FIRE RETURN is increased by the AMPLIFY ability.

HEAVY HITTERS

HEAVY HITTERS is a ruleset that gives an additional ability in the form of KNOCK OUT to all monsters in the battle arena. KNOCK OUT is an ability that will deal double damage to monsters affected by the effects of the STUN ability. Therefore, to be able to utilize the HEAVY HITTERS ruleset, you need at least 2 monsters (because 1 monster does not necessarily work) with the STUN ability, and all monsters must attack the same target (not using monsters with abilities such as SNEAK, OPPORTUNITY, SCATTER SHOT, and SNIPE) to increase its success.

My Line-Up

Even though the opponent will most likely not use Ranged monsters, I will still use Quix the Devious because I need another debuff which is to reduce 1 SPEED. This aims to widen the SPEED difference so that the attacks from the opponent's monsters miss more..
SNEAK + MARTYRI want the MARTYR that Vruz has so that it can be used by my monsters in the next position. It also has the lowest Health points of the others, so monsters with OPPORTUNITY ability will attack Vruz first.
FLYING + VOID + PHASEVoid Dragon will receive additional stats points as a result of Vruz's MARTYR effect. If the stats owned by Void Dragon are higher, then attacks from all monsters can most likely be avoided.

With the FLYING ability, it can avoid attacks from monsters that do not have the same ability, while the PHASE ability is useful for avoiding attacks from magic monsters which always succeed in hitting their targets despite having a considerable difference in SPEED.
FLYING + SCATTER SHOT + BLAST + BLINDThe SCATTER SHOT and BLAST that Chaos Dragon already has at level 2 will be useful for defeating many monsters at once because the attack targets in each round are always random.

While the BLIND ability will be useful for reducing the accuracy of the opponent's attacks so that any attacks from the opponent's monsters that might lead to Void Dragon later will miss.
RESURRECT + INSPIRE + DISPELI used River Hellondale because I needed its RESURRECT ability to revive Vruz who would become the target of the opponent's attack. If Vruz loses 2 times, then Void Dragon will receive additional stats points from MARTYR for 2 times as well.
AFFLICTION + OPPRESSCaptain's Ghost is used to deal with monsters that have HEAL abilities (or TANKs that receive healing from monsters with TANK HEAL abilities) as well as quickly defeating no-attack monsters.

Natural enemies of monsters such as Baakjira.
VOID + SLOW + STRENGTHEN + HEALI placed Baakjira in case the opponent uses Uraeus (SNEAK monster that also has POISON ability). In addition, I chose Baakjira because of her SLOW ability. I used that ability to widen the SPEED difference so that the opponent's attacks would miss.

BATTLE START !!!

The opponent used Kelya Frendul which is a Summoner from Water SPLINTER. The opposing side also brought 2 monsters with OPPORTUNITY abilities according to my expectations.

In the first round, Diemonshark and Vruz both failed to hit each other. Then all of my Magic monsters (Void Dragon, Chaos Dragon, River Hellondale, and Captain's Ghost) attacked Diemonshark and left it with 1 Health point.

Kulu Mastermind and Deeplurker each defeated Vruz so that Void Dragon received 2 additional stats points. Nerissa Tridawn and Doctor Blight failed to land their attacks on Void Dragon who had already received a stats boost.

In the second round, Void Dragon defeated Diemonshark while Noa the Just who took his place was defeated by River Hellondale and Captain's Ghost.

Kulu Mastermind successfully attacked River Hellondale while the attack from Deeplurker missed.

In the third round, all my Magic monsters (Void Dragon, Chaos Dragon, River Hellondale, and Captain's Ghost) attacked Kulu Mastermind and defeated him.

Review of this battle

The battle this time can be said to be quite easy because the opponent only relies on attacks from OPPORTUNITY monsters if you look at the strategy. Although I didn't directly show the utilization of the UP TO ELEVEN Ruleset (because the opponent was also aware of it), at least this time I managed to defeat the opponent because of my formation this time.

If only Deeplurker's attack managed to hit River Hellondale the battle would likely continue into the next round.
