RE: Livin’ on a prayer

This game gives you somewhat of an idea of how I've felt, most years, since graduating Uni in 2007 ;^)

Perhaps not as a musician, but as a struggling creative.

That one little slice helped for a minute or five, but now I'm hungry again.
Thank you though :<)

I did feel something like that in this journey. And it feels horrible.
Now if a pretend rockstar guy game makes me feel that way. I cannot imagine the depression and sadness a budding artist may feel in the initial stages.
...
To work without pay or minimal pay and find joy in the work is not easy.
...
Would be a very messy situation and I rather not think about that. I sheer number of compromises that one has to make for the lack of finance is enough to strangle the creativity. It will leave you scarred for life.

I guess you get used to it but man did I struggle. I am getting to know myself better and better though ( day by little day ), which also makes me understand my past ( struggles ) even more.

Not sure about the scarred for life part though. There's powerful ways of healing ;<)

I guess that's what's called learning curve.
And it's not business or technical things you learn but you learn about yourself. What kinda of person you are and what is it that you desire from life. While focusing on keeping oneself alive..

Coming to think of it. There are million of things that I would have done differently now. But back then I think I did the best. 🤣🤣🤣

Not sure if that make any kind of sense

I think it's called life but let's be honest, there's many who never learn and mainly stay stuck. Say they can't change and so on...

Very normal, although I tend to think that everything happens for a reason. We can't change the past but we can control the now ;<)
