HoloZing is Not Like Other Web 3 Games! That is Why I Like It
I find myself extremely happy to learn more about HoloZing from @acidyo (he is the founder and designer of the game). Cryptosphere is riddled with scams, rug pulls and soon to be dead projects. Even investing in a project made with nothing but genuine intentions can be a big risk. HoloZing appears to be the exact opposite of those scams, rug pulls and dead projects in the making.
Let's forget about all the reputation the developers have built over many years on HIVE. Take a look at the publicly availability material that is there to promote the game. Usually the promotion for a blockchain game start with pretty visuals.
Illuvium has done many good things for the cryptosphere. When people think about blockchain gaming, they at least have a working game with pretty visuals that look almost as good as popular Web 2 games. So far I have not seen anything amazing regarding the gameplay mechanics or in game economy. Web 2 can survive based on gameplay quality alone. Web 3 does not have that luxury. The economics should be taken as the most important part of a Web 3 game. Else there would be no point investing in Web 3.
HoloZing Does Not Lead With Visuals
Look at all the discussions on the game on blockchain. Most of the talk is about gameplay, making sure there are no easy exploits, thinking like gamers while designing the game, having good Tokenomics etc. The visuals and names can be taken care of later. A decentralized project cannot do whatever it want about the assets once the game is launched. This is a feature; not a bug. It is part of the reason why there is such a large amount of HIVE Power is being delegated to @zingtoken account.

I had delegated HIVE Power to the point of almost running out of Resource Credits. I managed without a problem after a slight reduction in comments made. I had already delegated to @leo.voter leaving out very little HP for myself. I have kept all of my ZING in the staked from earning a very good APR.

I will link some good articles and reports from the game that will help you understand how different and thoughtfully designed HoloZing is compared to 99.9% of Web 3 projects.
Networking + Marketing Can Change Many Things
All HIVE projects have a visibility problem. We are very loosely connected to rest of the cryptosphere. I think more people know about Friend.Tech than they know about HIVE. When a lousy project is well known while the biggest pioneer in decentralized communities is left relatively unknown, the gap is caused by a lack of marketing and business development.
I see incredibly good level of unity and good will among HIVE developers. What I don't see enough is similar relationships with entities outside of HIVE. @splinterlands has done the best job at this making partnerships with MLSPA and @terablock-hive. We need more of the same and we need it fast (at least within an year). It would be a shame to make the best partnerships as we walk into a bear market.
NeoTokyo: For Investors,Traders and Builders

NeoTokyo was created by Alex Becker and EllioTrades. They are both amazing builders who have experience outside Web 3. They are both traders and they have created a community that has attracted some high profile blockchain developers and investors. It could be one of the greatest places to be for networking. Only downside is that it is an expensive undertaking.

It could be better to take a look at Twitter(X) accounts of people involved and initiate a conversation with them. It would be a waste to spend money to join a community that is not the exact thing you are looking for at the moment. I am not part of NeoTokyo and I only know what I have seen on YouTube + Twitter(X). Directly reaching other developers and investors of NeoTokyo could be time well spent.
Bull Markets is For Expansion!
Bear markets are for building and we have seen so many amazing developments on HIVE and outside of HIVE. @vsc.network @dlux-io @threespeak @dbuzz @splinterlnds adn @leofinance are few of the things that have seen many improvements. All of these projects need to focus on bringing more users and keeping them onboard while there is a more interest in cryptosphere.
We have to let everyone know about all the DAPPs that are on HIVE. Buying ads is risky and saturated. Referrals, networking, interviews and events could work out much better. When people learn about HIVE, DAPPs microblogging and gaming would be the easiest places for them to get active on.
Happy Gaming! Happy Investing!
