3rd Rebellion Conflict, Burning Hundreds of Cards and Leveling Up Gladiators
There is no reason for me to expect enough Cards from Rebellion Airdrops to have them be playable on my Battles. A Level 1 Regular Foil Legendary or a Level 2 Gold Foil Legendary can be very useful when I participate Brawls in my Guild. What matters is that @splinterlands Cards can be extremely valuable in the future. We have seen how the prices can work wonders for all Editions other than Rebellion and Chaos Legion. One of them is ongoing and the other was launched to match the bull market demand.
Rebellion Conflicts Season 3
I only managed to join these Rebellion Conflicts due to the purchase of Baron Fyatt during the first day of Baron's Bounty Promo created for BTC Halving. It turned out to be a good investment with 41% short term profit thanks to one of the Cards being a Gold Foil. Without that, I would have been stuck at a loss with 32 entries to Lucky Draw Prizes.
Mage Wagons are a good use case for VOUCHERs. They can be bought with DEC or even CREDITS. But there is something to keep in mind for all @splinterlands players when making purchases.
- Playing with DEC is almost always cheaper than CREDITS.
- Playing with VOUCHERs is almost always cheaper than DEC.
Those who HODL VOUCHERs get to have the best discounts while the demand for VOUCHERs helps to keep the prices up. I don not think we have enough use cases for VOUCHERs. We should be able work on that over time.
Adding The Cards to Mage Wagon
If I do manage to get a Venka The Vile or any of the future Airdrop Cards, they can be added to the existing Mage Wagon increasing the rate of contribution to the Conflicts.
Results After ~4 Days
At the current rate I will not be able to guarantee myself an Airdrop at any of the conflict seasons. If I manage to find enough funds to invest in Rebellion Booster Packs, the trajectory will be different. There is a high chance that I will focus on Praetoria before I even consider investing in Rebellion for anything other than Promo Events such as Baron's Bounty.
Burning Cards for Glint
The ability to burn Soulbound Cards for Glint has been a welcome one. I have already burned 412 Cards as I had no immediate use for them after reaching the Max Level for the respective Summoners and Monsters. There will be the ability to make these Cards Unbound through using DEC. That will happen after the Reward Cards have gone out of print. I want to do my best to reach Max Level for all Cards before they are discontinued. These are my latest burns:

Have you burned any maxed RC for the 5% bonus? I'm not waiting to have a second maxed card (duplicate). I keep burning them as they pile up after I get the maxed card, hoping to max out the entire soulbound set before it's retired, same as you.
But to be honest, the price moves up too quickly, so we'd better wait to see if they add more focused draws or if they refill the store more often.
I did not want to wait till I have a second Max Level Card for anything. There is little to no chance of me achieving that before the current set is out of print. The first priority I have at the moment is to get everything to Max Level. After that I can take a wait and see approach.
If there is a flood of new players coming, we may find it even more difficult to get more Cards. It is on the best interest of @splinterlands to keep the inflation down. This will be a very good news for the existing collection. But if it becomes even more difficult to gather Reward Cards, it will be even more difficult to Level Up! Even if I buy the extra BCX from the market, I will still have to stake DEC to remove the Soulbound status of my existing Cards to be able to combine.
I don't know what the best option would be without access to insider information from the developers. It is possible that even they may not have finalized anything.

No, I meant in the Glint Store. Given the randomness of the draws, 10 draws until the price increases may be too few. This round I purchased every type of draw and moved up the price on all of them at least once, but in most cases twice. That's a lot of wasted Glint and I haven't come much closer to maxing out the remaining soulbound reward cards, which is also my priority.
As for unlocking soulbound to combine with what you buy from the market, yeah, we don't know when that will be available and it will be costly.
I'd also like the option to only draw GF or RF cards. And to be able to deactivate potions individually for RC, not both of them at the same time.
I think the price increase is simulating the old system where each Reward Chest was more expensive than the previous. I will be happy to see the size of each batch increase. The team should have enough data by next month to make a decision.
That's a good point. But thinking retrospectively, I think I got more RC in the old system than I can get from the new store, and that's after I also burned the cards I didn't need for Glint. So maybe some tweaks are necessary.
I feel like I get around the same amount of Cards or slightly better. This is after advancing from Diamond to Champion League + burning some Cards. You definitely have a point!
Have you taken into consideration cards from the Daily Focus too?
Yeah, I received Champion chests back then and I am mostly in Champion now, although I occasionally drop to (or start from) Diamond 1 at the beginning of the season.
