Splinterlands art contest / Ink drawing of Haunted Spider

Welcome friends to my splinterlands art post for the week. Happy new month everyone 😊,i hope you are all doing okay. Its a wonderful sunny day over here and a wonderful time to write my splinterlands art contest post. I just started my write up for my project copuled and just concluded my first semester exam. I was not able to meet up the last weeks art contest because of my exams but I'm so happy to be part of this weeks contest and so early. On a serious not i made this drawing for the previous art contest couldn't meet up the contest. Not to go too far i would be entering this weeks contest with an ink drawing of the character Haunted Spider.

From the reference image above you can see that the looks of the spider is quite different from the regular ones with the scale patterns on its body. I love the way it looks although i made some personal modifications to the image it came out fine i would let you all be the judge of that. So i used several inked pen in asking this drawing also a pencil and eraser.
With this materials i was able to come up with this drawing which was quite amazing, i used the cross hatching technique for the shading of the image. I hope you all love the turn out of my drawing, the process of my drawing lies below feel free to ask any question or drop your comment.
