If I were the wife, I would not agree to just say "okay" and "yes" to everything my husband says. It can't be one sided, in a relationship. Marriage is a partnership and husband and wife should share everything with each other, there thoughts, their feelings, their decisions.

If my husband asked me to always agree with him, I would feel hurt and ignored. I am an individual, I think for myself, I feel for myself. If I just gave in, and went with the flow, even if I disagree then what have I become, just another number. If it's a good relationship, both people should be able to say when they don't agree or when something upsets them.

Yeah that sounds like the easiest thing to do, just ignore the arguments, but it's not. If I don't say anything then things are just going to accumulate and that is not healthy for either one of us. I would tell my husband (as nicely as possible) that I love him and respect his opinions, but I have to be able to say what I feel as well. We must be able to communicate and when we can't agree we need to be able to communicate that. That’s what makes a relationship strong.
