One of the most legendary racing games
Hello, gamers!! Happy Monday and the start of the week to everyone! Well, I want to share with you a classic that surely many know and have played, but if you haven't, I highly recommend it. Need for Speed Underground 2 is undoubtedly one of the most legendary and mythical racing games, so if you bet on the classics, this game is for you.
First in the open world?
I'm not sure if Need for Speed Underground 2 was the first racing game to feature the open world, but in my case, it was the first open-world racing game I played at the time and that was something that blew me away. head.
The issue of being able to move around the entire city was a big difference from that time when I was used to playing racing games where you stayed in a single lane until the end and went from race to race. Here the dynamic changed completely since you then had to travel through the city to get to the races, I think it was a formula, too successful for the moment.
In addition, it wasn't just the races, it was the shops and the garages, this was also something that changed the game forever from what we were used to in other games. The first time I played it was on PC and I also had the ONLINE which was something quite new for me. Today I play it on the PCSX2 emulator for PlayStation 2 on PC.
The best soundtrack:
The soundtrack is undoubtedly one of the most important elements of games, and in this case, we are talking about a selection of mostly exceptional tracks. The mix or mix of all these songs from different artists is without a doubt one of the best done in all of history or that at least I have heard in games that have this "playlist" model for the soundtrack.
Conclusions:
Need for Speed Underground 2 is without a doubt one of the best racing games in history, one so good that EA tried to replicate its formula many times, and for me none like this title. If you haven't played it, I highly recommend playing it, it is a classic that you will certainly not regret playing.

Underground 2 brings me good memories because I did not understand what I had to do really because I did not have much knowledge of English, and I struggled to advance in the game but then I saw how to solve it was a big change to go from carbon to Underground 2 because there was no slow motion that characterized the game. And from what I remember from Underground 2 is that it has as a car customization as more detailed with respect to the other delivery, I think this was the last Need for speed game that came out for ps2.
