Five Minute Freewrite Prompt: Animal Tracks (A Short Story)

This very short story takes a little longer than five minutes, but I couldn't help myself because I wanted the story to flow naturally. I also did a bit of editing so there's that too...
Jenny was an experienced hiker and loved nothing more than exploring the great outdoors. She came across a set of animal tracks while walking through the dense forest. The tracks were new, and she could tell they belonged to a large animal.
Jenny couldn't help but follow the tracks, despite the danger. They led her deeper into the woods until she was completely surrounded by trees. Suddenly, she heard rustling in the nearby bushes.
Jenny froze, her heart racing. She slowly turned around to face the noise and saw a large grizzly bear standing just a few feet away from her. She quickly realized that the tracks she had been following were not those of a bear, but of a deer fleeing the bear.
Jenny realized she had made a grave error at that moment. She tried to back away slowly, but the bear charged at her. She closed her eyes and braced herself for the impact, but when she opened them again, the bear had stopped just inches from her face.
To her surprise, the bear simply sniffed her and turned away, disappearing back into the forest. Jenny stood there stunned, realizing that the animal tracks had led her to a miraculous encounter with one of nature's most fearsome creatures.
What a scare for Jenny, thank goodness it was only the bear that sniffed her.
Good story
Indeed. She's quite lucky to survive that encounter. Thanks for reading.
