image.pngEnrage - +50% melee power and speed (rounded up) if not at full health.

image.pngimage.pngimage.pngimage.png

image.pngShapeshift - Treated as all bloodlines.

Battle

English

Hello everyone, for this Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, I'm here to share one of the strategies with Gorgus the Endless Archon and how his Bloodline Dominion affects other Orcs.

This is a practice battle to show you the strategy you can use with Orcs in many battles depending on the elements they grant you and the combat rules. It's a battle with Modern cards: Rebellion, Conclave Arcana, and Foundations.

image.png

Gorgug the Endless Archon's bloodline is Orc. This archon decreases enemy cards ranged damage by -1 and grants your orcs the Enrage ability.
image.pngEnrage - +50% melee power and speed (rounded up) if not at full health.

The orcs I chose for this battle were:

image.pngimage.pngimage.pngimage.png

Gramel the Hunger can be any Bloodline due to his ability:

image.pngShapeshift - Treated as all bloodlines.

Battle

Let's look at the combat rules:
Equalizer: All cards take the health of the highest unit.
Armored Up: Gives all units +2 armor at the start of battle.
Weak Magic: Armor protects against magic damage.

The mana will grant is 54 which is high, perfect for putting high mana cards.

image.png

My strategy for this fight is for Venka the Vile to finish the battle with his damage, along with the Enrage given by the Archon. His attack will increase further and deal massive damage.
For Enrage to really shine in the second round, we'll need Electrified: Shock Trooper has this ability, perfect for activating Enrage on Orcs, and also has Swiftness.
Due to the Equalizer rule, I don't have to worry about Electrified.

image.png

I'm putting Commander Slade on the front line to take the damage due to his high armor.
The orc Zargrul has Taunt, so cards should attack this card. I want it to activate Bloodline Tribute when it dies, which will grant +1 Speed, +1 Health, and +1 Magic Attack on the orcs.
First, the game starts with the Ambush: Rush Townsend attacks first, then Warborn Shaman, giving him Poison on the first attack 😀.

image.png
In the first round, Zargrul falls, which gives my orcs stats. At the start of the second round, Electrified activates, giving the orcs more speed and increased melee damage due to ENRAGE.
Venka the Vile already has 11 attack and 11 speed, it is a fearsome card as is Gramel the Hunger with 3 types of attack with that damage and speed will do a lot of damage.

image.png
At the end of the second round, the enemy Bellowmancer and Grimbardun Fighter fall.
In the third round the first to attack is Venka because she has 11 speed, killing Hodlor activates the Trample ability which will attack once more.

image.png
Round 4: Commander Slade falls, and Warborn Shaman takes the lead.
Round 4 is now completely mine, as Venka finishes off his Arcane Skinwalker and attacks again, leaving Nimbledook Ranger at zero health so my other cards can finish him off.
By Round 5, only Rush Townsend remains, and Venka ends the battle with one blow.

Full Battle

Final notes:

Having Enrage on the orcs is very feared especially in Venka the Vile is one of the strongest cards in the game and there is no card with the ability Forcefield in the Modern Ranked, Venka the Vile can ensure very high damage.
Together with the Archon Gorgug the Endless you can form several strategies with the orcs in the game, one of these is with Venka which I have done in this battle along with the ability Electrified.
