Hola a todos, en este Splinterlands Social Media Challenge vengo a mostrarles a Cryptic y su habilidad Expose que afecta a las cartas enemigas para asi derrotarlas facilmente.

Este es una batalla de practica para mostrarles al Summoner - Archon Cryptic y la habilidad Expose y como afecta a las cartas enemigas. Es una batalla con cartas modernas: Rebellion, Conclave Arcana y Foundations.

Cryptic

Cryptic es un Archon de la edición Rebellion y que se puede jugar con dos elementos: WATER y DEATH.
Cryptic disminuye el speed enemigo en -1 y les otorga Blind a las cartas enemigas.
Ademas puede poner a dos cartas Retaliate y Enfeeble o puede poner Poison y Expose.

Expose - 80% de probabilidad de eliminar Forcefield, Lookout, Deflect, Shield, Void, Void Armor, Cleanse o Immunity tras un ataque exitoso. Exponer siempre eliminará primero Immunity.

Battle

Nos otorgan 99 de mana y las reglas de combate son:

• Weak Magic: El ataque magico al atacar ataca a la armadura primero.
• Briar Patch: Todas las cartas tienen la habilidad Thorns.
• Maneuvers: Todas las cartas tienen la habilidad Reach.

Debido a que nos da full mana (99) podemos escoger las cartas con mas costo.
Primero escogo a Cryptic que sera nuestro Archon en esta batalla y pondra la habilidad Poison y Expose a Warborn Shaman y Delya.
Por que estas dos cartas? Warborn Shaman al tener Ambush podra atacar primero y poder quitar una habilidad por el Expose.
Delya es una carta con alto speed ademas tiene Double Strike: lo cual atacara dos veces y tendra mas chance de activar el Expose.

En la primero posición voy con Grimbardun Fighter dado que tiene Shield y Deflect lo cual soportara el ataque melee pero no el magico, pero primero tiene que pasar por su armadura gracias a la regla de combate Weak Magic.
Nalara Geinek va en la segunda posición al tener Silence y Void sera perfecto para soportar el ataque magico.
Warborn Shaman en la 3 posición ademas de atacar primero por su Ambush tiene Poison y Impede.
Barashkukor en la 4 posición por su alto ataque ademas de tener Fury lo cual hara el doble de daño a cartas con la habilidad Taunt.
Delya en la 5 posición ya que asi podra atacar libremente desde atras y al tener Deflect no recibe daño de Blast o Return Fire.
Bellowmancer en la ultima posición por su habilidad Taunt lo cual las cartas enemigas tendran que atacar a esta carta.

El enemigo va con Bella Ratajowlski lo cual pone Deflect a todas las cartas enemigas y Shield al bloodline Ulund. Perfecto para Cryptic asi podra quitar estas habilidades otorgadas.

Primero se activa el Ambush de Shaman lo cual ataca primero a Bellowmancer y le quita la habilidad Shield por el Expose obtenido de Cryptic.
Ronda 1:
Bellowmancer enemigo es derrotado

Ronda 2:
Moribund Arrowbait es derrotado dos veces este turno lo cual otorga sube los stats de las cartas Ulund y a Arcane Skinwalker por su habilidad Bloodline Tribute
Grimbardun Fighter es derrotado, y Shaman le pone Poison a Mystic Mudbinder.

Ronda 3:

Bellowmancer es derrotado y Delya le quita los buffos otorgados a Mystic pero no es derrotado esta ronda.

Ronda 4:

Son derrotados Mystic Mudbinder y Boring Hobgoblin.
Shaman pone Poison y le quita Deflect a Arcane Skinwalker.

Ronda 5:
Arcane Skinwalker es derrotado por Nalara.

Ronda 6: Delya le quita el Shield a Calabash Sage y le hace bastante daño para que asi Barashkukor termine la batalla con un solo golpe.

Notas finales:

Cryptic antes de la expansión de Conclave Arcana se usaba mucho en las batallas ahora ultimamente no lo veo mucho en batallas.
Con la salida de nuevas cartas Cryptic no ha tenido bastante impacto, pero aun lo veo muy util ya que pone la habilidad Expose ya que hay solo dos cartas que tienen esta habilidad: Riklauniman y Zargrul.

Hello everyone, in this Splinterlands Social Media Challenge I come to show you Cryptic and his Expose ability that affects enemy cards to easily defeat them.

This is a practice battle to showcase the Summoner - Archon Cryptic and the Expose ability, as well as how it affects enemy cards. It's a battle featuring Modern cards: Rebellion, Conclave Arcana, and Foundations.

Cryptic

Cryptic is an Archon from the Rebellion edition and can be played with two elements: WATER and DEATH.
Cryptic decreases enemy speed by -1 and grants Blind to enemy cards.
He can also place two cards with Retaliate and Enfeeble, or he can place Poison and Expose.

Expose - 80% chance to remove Forcefield, Lookout, Deflect, Shield, Void, Void Armor, Cleanse, or Immunity after a successful attack. Expose will always remove Immunity first.

Battle

They give us 99 mana and the combat rules are:

• Weak Magic: The magic attack hits armor first when attacking.
• Briar Patch: All cards have the Thorns ability.

Since it gives us full mana (99), we can choose the highest-cost cards.
First, I choose Cryptic, who will be our Archon for this battle, and he will use the Poison and Expose abilities on Warborn Shaman and Delya.

Why these two cards? Warborn Shaman, with Ambush, will be able to attack first and remove an ability with Expose.

Delya is a high-speed card and also has Double Strike, which means she'll attack twice and have a better chance of triggering Expose.

In the first position I go with Grimbardun Fighter since it has Shield and Deflect which will withstand the melee attack but not the magic one, but first it has to go through its armor thanks to the Weak Magic combat rule.

Nalara Geinek is in second place as she has Silence and Void which will be perfect for withstanding the magic attack.

Warborn Shaman in the 3rd position, in addition to attacking first with his Ambush, she has Poison and Impede.

Barashkukor in the 4th position for its high attack and also having Fury which will do double damage to cards with the Taunt ability.

Delya in the 5th position since she can freely attack from behind and since she has Deflect she doesn't receive damage from Blast or Return Fire.

Bellowmancer in the last position due to its Taunt ability, which means that enemy cards will have to attack this card.

The enemy goes with Bella Ratajkowski, which gives Deflect to all enemy cards and Shield to the Ulund bloodline. Perfect for Cryptic, so he can remove these granted abilities.

Shaman's Ambush is activated first, attacking Bellowmancer first and removing his Shield ability due to the Expose gained from Cryptic.
Round 1:
The enemy Bellowmancer is defeated.

Round 2:
Moribund Arrowbait is defeated twice this turn, which grants stat boosts to Ulund cards and Arcane Skinwalker due to its Bloodline Tribute ability.
Grimbardun Fighter is defeated, and Shaman Poisons Mystic Mudbinder.

Ronda 3:

Bellowmancer is defeated and Delya removes the buffs granted to Mystic but is not defeated this round.

Ronda 4:

Mystic Mudbinder and Boring Hobgoblin are defeated.
Shaman applies Poison and removes Deflect from Arcane Skinwalker.

Round 5:
Arcane Skinwalker is defeated by Nalara.

Round 6: Delya takes the Shield from Calabash Sage and does enough damage to allow Barashkukor to end the battle with a single hit.

Final Notes:

Cryptic was used a lot in battles before the Arcane Conclave expansion, but I haven't seen it much in battles lately.
With the release of new cards, Cryptic hasn't had much impact, but I still find it very useful since it gives you the Expose ability, since there are only two cards that have this ability: Riklauniman and Zargrul.
