Splinterlands Social Media Challenge | Born Again!

Namaste to all the Warriors of Splinterlands!🙏

In this week's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge🌟 I will talk about a battle where the only active element was Earth and the mana cap was low. I made a team with both earth and grey cards and focused on strengthening my team while depending on melee attackers. The lineup is also an interesting part where knowing that one of my cards would not be able to perform without Certain Situation, I placed it in the middle of the lineup. So, read the whole blog; you will surely enjoy it!

The total mana cap for this battle was 29, including the summoner's mana cost, as we all know. And the ruleset for this battle is Born Again.

I created my team by using 29 of my total mana cap!

Let's now look at the Battlefield and how all the cards are positioned!

Before the cards get summoners' powers!

After the cards get the summoner's powers!

My team could have been better, no doubt, but my enemy has neither made a good team selection nor is its lineup correct. Anyway, what else could have been there in these cards? I tested the enemy's first place card a lot in the last season, and it is a good card, but not at all to be placed in the first place. Because you see its health is so low that it is stupid to place it in the first place. But anyway, I have given place to both Grey and Earth cards in my team and with the powers of my summoner, I have strengthened my 2 attackers by using +2 melee power.

Round 1🔥

As I said, this card is good in itself, but only if you know how to use it properly. Placing this card in the first place shows that you have not yet understood how to use its full potential. Anyway, after getting +2 milli power from my summoner, my cards have become more powerful than before, the result of which is that the enemy's important card got knocked out in the first round itself. Yes, I will call it an important card because if it was somewhere behind in the lineup with a little protection, then my cards would have been in danger due to its big attacks.

Round 4🔥

In Born Again Ruleset, many times you lose even the winning game because a powerful card gets up again after dying and you are unable to withstand those attacks with weak cards. If I look at it that way, I did not face even 1% problem in this battle because the enemy's most powerful and weakest card was placed in the front which made it difficult for the enemy to win this battle from the very beginning. Later, I thought that first the Magic Attacker would be knocked out and then the Range Attacker would become useless even after coming to the frontline, but the Range Attacker was knocked out first, and now the enemy team is almost finished.

I think the biggest mistake was in the team selection from the enemy. There should have been a defender card with more health in the frontline, and this card could have been placed somewhere in the second or third position with extra shields. I chose good cards from the available cards in my deck, but I am sure they could have been better. But it was also a good idea that I did not just depend on the Earth element but also made grey cards a part of the team. Overall, this battle was easy to win, but the next opponent may come with a stronger team, so we need to refine our strategy and continually add new and improved cards to the deck.

I hope you have now understood how important it is to pay attention to the team selection and the lineup. Keeping in mind every possible situation, you can make a better team even in such battle conditions. And as I always say that it is not just about winning or losing; important is to know how everything happened in the battle because based on that, you improve your strategy and learn from the shortcomings and correct them. So I am sharing this battle.
