Splinterlands: Make your cards even potent!
Today, I noticed that a card in my Gladiator Set deck was ready to level up. That's when an idea came to me: why not create an easy and informative guide for new players on how to level up cards? So here I am, a nice, easy, step-by-step guide that guides you on how to periodically check your cards and see when you have enough copies to level them up in just a few clicks. You probably already know that by enjoying the game and ranking up, and through various rarity draws, you'll earn rewards from time to time, often including different cards that become part of your deck and often don't even look at them. I'm saying this because until a few months ago, when I didn't know about levelling up cards, I used to do the same.

But now that I know, I'm telling you that you should review your deck at least once per season. To do this, click on Items and then Cards from the menu at the top of the game site, where you'll see all the cards in your deck in one place. This page features the same filters on the left as the Market page, allowing you to filter for specific types of cards. As far as I know, this update wasn't always present in Splinterlands. Below each card, you see a number indicating how many copies you have of that specific card. And to top it off, the number below the card that has enough copies to level up appears in light yellow. This small update saves you from a cumbersome and tedious process, as you no longer need to open each card to check if it's ready to level up.

Here, as soon as you hover over a specific card, you'll see a message indicating whether the card is ready to be levelled up, and if not, how many more copies you need to level it up. Since my card is ready to be levelled up, let's use this example and click on it.
Once the card opens, you'll see all of its copies, which are the same number as listed below the card on the Items page. Now that this card is ready to level up, I'll select all the copies and click the Combine Cards button with the + sign from the menu above.

By the way, you can see that all the copies are soulbound, but that doesn't matter to me because I'm going to use these cards for my in-game strategies anyway, not for trading. So, upon clicking the Combine Cards button, you'll see a pop-up that will give you the details of this transaction. Here, make sure to cross-check that you have enough required copies available and that your card level is up, as you can't undo this process.

After checking the details, once you click on Combine, your card gets levelled up in a few moments, and now on the card page, you can see its new level and improved stats, and also see that you now have 1 copy of Level 2 instead of 5 copies of Level 1. From then on, I can use this modified version of this card in my battles, but keep one more very important thing in mind, and that is that to use Level 2 cards, you also need an Archon of the same level, which you can purchase or rent from the market whenever you want. I already do this because I have many Level 2 cards in my deck and earn most of them just like this, by enjoying the Splinterlands.

I hope you enjoyed this guide! I frequently blog about Splinterlands-related topics, so you can stay informed about all the amazing features of this amazing game and enjoy them to the fullest. Remember, in Splinterlands, simply having the best cards isn't enough; you need to use your ingenuity and develop strategies based on a clear understanding of the various battle conditions. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on developing better strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!

If you also want to enjoy this amazing game and you have not yet signed up, I invite you to Splinterlands, and I will also try my best to guide you in this game. 😎
