Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Spotlighting My Epic Grey GEM!

Namaste to all warriors of Splinterlands!
In this week's 🌟Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge🌟, I'll be introducing you to another great card that's performed well in most of my battles, and it's even more impressive with its Best Friend. You'll see why I say that a card that's not only powerful but also a good defender and usable in most situations is a must-have on your team in Splinterlands. 🔥

Although I've written about this card before, and if you're a follower, you'll know that I use it in most of my battles, and it's also the first card I ever purchased in Splinterlands, this is an epic neutral card from the Rebellion set called Pallus.

After this, I added several more cards to my deck and fought some mind-blowing battles. However, by direct comparison, I've undoubtedly seen many more cards than this, and some of them are even part of my deck; this card has its own significance. First, being grey (neutral), under normal conditions, you can use this card with any other element. I'm saying "normal" because not all elements are active in every battle. However, if the grey element is active, you can choose any element from Fire, Water, Life, Earth, or Dragon. In addition to the cards associated with that element, you'll be completely free to add grey (neutral) cards to your team.
Furthermore, since it's a melee attacker, its basic nature prevents it from being placed anywhere else in a lineup except the first spot. However, this card also comes with a unique Reach ability that allows you to place it in a lineup other than the first spot, giving you more freedom to strategise and place cards more cleverly. And because of this ability, I think it's best to place this card in the second spot because I think there could be a better tank ahead of it that can defend this card as well as the rest of the team, so that every other card can perform attacks freely.

Another feature of this card, which also provides minor protection, is its Flying ability. This ability gives it a 25% chance of evading melee attacks. However, if the attacker also has a Flying ability, this ability doesn't protect it. However, this ability also makes this card immune to Earthquake. There are several other conditions when an ability proves to be the best or worst. For more details, you can check the abilities in the How to Play section.
And last but not least is the Kindred Spirit: True Strike ability of this card. Although this ability alone is of no use, but if you place a card with Kindred Will: Ambush ability in its adjacent team, then Kindred Spirit ability provides true strike power to the card with Kindred Will ability and Kindred Will ability provides ambush power to Kindred Spirit ability and in this way this brotherhood of two cards gets ready to perform its best and just imagine, if this card, already equipped with 3 melee attack power, also performs an ambush attack, then how devastating it will be for the enemy.

And if you can somehow increase the attack power of this card, then it can be the deadliest; you can get a glimpse of the same in one of my battles, the screenshots of which I have added above. However, you will get the best learning and full enjoyment of the battle only by watching it, hence I would recommend you watch this battle once. The Splinterlands is no easy place, and that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. Powers working in perfect synergy are what make a strategy successful.🔥
