Splinterlands Social Media Challenge | Remarkable Frontier Battle!
Namaste to all the citizens of Splinterlands!🙏
In this week's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge🌟, I will tell you about a battle in the free-to-play Frontier format where with the help of the ruleset and by performing the first attack, I built pressure on the enemy who appeared to be outnumbered from the very beginning and easily defeated all the enemy's cards one after the other without much difficulty. But still this is one of the remarkable battles because making your strategy work in the Frontier format with these basic-level one cards is an achievement in itself, so please read the full blog.

The total mana cap for this battle was 37, including the summoner's mana cost, as we all know. And the ruleset for this battle is Unprotected and Explosive Weaponry.
My lineup for this outstanding battle!
Position | Summoner/Monsters | Abilities |
---|---|---|
Summoner | Marlai Singariel | +1 Magic |
1st Position | Great Bear Druid | Blast |
2nd Position | Vengeful Monk | Opportunity and Blast |
3rd Position | Water-Logged Wizard | Blast |
4th Position | Lunaki Howler | Blast |

I created my team by using 35 of my total mana cap!
Let's now look at the Battlefield and how all the cards are positioned!
Here, there is so much difference in the attacking power of my cards as compared to the enemy cards because I have made my team keeping in mind my chosen Archon, according to whose ability every magic attacker in the team will get 1 more magic power. This is the reason why I have mainly given place to magic cards in the team. Due to this, I was able to dominate the enemy from the very beginning of this battle. However, the enemy supported its team by giving 1 extra health, so if you look from the health point of view, the enemy team looks very strong, but despite being less in number, my team is stronger from the attacking power point of view.
Round 1🔥
This is the beginning of my team's back-to-back attacks, in which all the enemy cards will get knocked out one after the other. Although all my cards became comparatively powerful after my Archon gave +1 magic power to all the cards, my first place card was the most powerful of them all not only because it had the most health which is a very important stat to be in a defending position on the frontline but also because after getting powers from Archon it now had a total of 2 magic and 1 melee attack power, which makes it a strong card on this battlefield. And the enemy had only one heavy attacker in his lineup and on top of that, he did not get the chance to attack first, due to which the turn to attack first has played a very big role for my team because if the enemy cards had performed the attacks first, then maybe my team would not have done so well, and probably the result of the game would have been different.
However, I am not saying that this is the best team because everyone has their own strategies, and above all, if someone has better cards in their deck, then they will obviously have more options to choose from. But I have made this team with the same basic level one cards that I unlocked by completing Waur Mage Book 1 and I am still a novice in terms of strategies and am still learning, so of course this is not the best team but this is a good team in this mana cap and it has also proved this by winning. In a way, this entire battle was one-sided, and the enemy team was all out without me losing a single card, so I have shared a video of this battle uploaded using 3Speak, which you will enjoy watching, and maybe you can also learn something from it.
In every battle, you have to follow the same fundamental understanding, planning and strategy as you do in any other battle, but with each battle, your understanding and strategies also get better. So by knowing the reasons for winning or losing, you understand that you can create an amazing team with the cards available in your deck, provided you understand the way of the game well and create a team with the right strategy with some calculation of attacks.
