Splinterlands social media challenge: Exploring amazing water monsters

Hello Splinterfans, it has been my goal to shed more light on interesting monsters that people may not know about or use often. With the amount of cards available in splinterlands, we tend to use a specific set of cards because we have gotten fond of them. Meanwhile, there are many more out there to explore. This time, I will be presenting you with some cool water monsters, and I believe you would love having them on your battle team.

The Kraken

The Kraken is a ferocious beast. The stats of this monster are intimidating. It is a melee attack card as it has 4 melee attacks. It has armor of 3, and on top of that, it has a massive health of 14. With these stats, it is obvious that it is best suited in the tank position. It will be able to withstand attacks from opposing units for a longer period. It won't be easy to eliminate it from battle because of the armor and health level.

Furthermore, it can do serious damage from up close. In addition to all of these, it is a fast monster as it has a speed of 4. The manner cost for this card is 12 and it is absolutely worth it.

At level one, it has the taunt ability, making all enemy monsters target it, if they can. By level 2, it adds the Demoralize ability, through which it reduces the melee attacks of the opposing units by one. By level 4, it gets the retaliate ability, which lets it hit back at an attacker after being hit with a melee attack.

Relenor Cleaver

This is another melee attack card with 4 melee attacks. It has a whooping armor of 7. That is more than enough protection for its health which is 6. You can see that it is best for the front row as well. It has a speed of 2 which is moderate enough.

Relenor Cleaver has two abilities at level one. The first is the bloodlust ability, which means it enjoys the glory of combat. As the battle progresses, it becomes even more dangerous. It even adds plus one to every stat each time it eliminates an opposing unit. The second ability is the Reach ability. Since it is a melee attack card, the reach ability lets it attack from the second position in battle. By level 5, it gets the inspire ability, letting it add 1 melee attack to units of the same team.

Torhilo the Frozen

This is also a melee attack card that perfectly fits in the first row in battle. The armor is 4 and its health is up to 8. That is very impressive. However, it is a slow unit as it has a speed of 1.

Torhilo the Frozen has the void ability in level 1, which enables it reduce the damage that results from a magic attack by half. By level 4, it gets the last stand ability which means it gets a fifty percent increase to all of its stats if it is the last unit on the team standing. By level 6, it also gets the shatter ability, which enables it destroy the armor of its target during attack.
