Weekly Battle Challenge Dragons
The Battle
42 mana with earthquake; Water, Earth, Life, Death and Dragon splinters available.
Dragon is my favorite splinter to play especially in earthquake battles, right away my thoughts go to Brighton Bloom and with this high of mana magic is going to be a really good play.
My Battle:

My Team:
Brighton Bloom - Gives everything flying, necessity in earthquake
Unicorn Mustang - Meaty Tank with void as I suspect magic play
Mycellic Slipspawn - Taunt to keep mustang alive longer
Goblin Psychic - Healer with decent magic damage
Wood Nymph - secondary healer with magic damage
Spirit Hoarder - Triage healer with magic damage
Magi of Chaos - good magic damage
Spirit Hoarder will be clinch here as he will keep the slipspawn alive longer to draw more of what i suspect will be magic attacks coming from the enemy units.
Enemy Team:
Obsidian - Magic Boost
Unicorn Mustang - Meaty void tank
Venari Knifer - Thorns and secondary tank
Regal Peryton - Flying magic damage
Mycellic Splispawn - Taunt magic draw
Goblin Psychic - Healer with magic damage
Goblin Thief - Sneak attacks to try and pick off my weaker backline
As soon as the battle started I knew it was a lock as my sustain will outlast the enemy and even though they have magic boost my damage will prevail especially since the knifer can't attack in second position so will sit there not being a threat.
Round 2
Round 2 starts and earthquake takes out their slipspawn and damages the healer and sneaker. My slipspawn is still alive thanks to triage and flying so i know it will take some key shots as that is it's job.
Round 3
Round 3 starts and my slipspawn is still standing, this has given my tank the ability to stay full hp while theirs is damaged severely, and the earthquake removes the healer and sneak unit. It's all over but the crying as there is no more sustain on the enemy team now.
Round 4 was just the lone Regal Peryton with 3 hp which the mustang dispatched on the first attack.
In conclusion, Brighton Bloom was key to avoiding the earthquake damage playing to the ruleset, and the MVP in my opinion was the slipspawn coupled with the spirit hoarder to keep the enemy attacks under control and therefore control the momentum of the entire match.
