So, a few weeks ago, Itau, one of the biggest banks in Latin America, made the news because they laid off around 1000 people in a single day. Today they made the news again because their mobile app is crashing and millions of people just can't use it.
It could be a coincidence but it's just a bit odd that their app breaks down not long after they fired a bunch of people in thier tech team

Smells like a classic case of bad leadership. "Yeah! AI is so cool, who needs workers anymore? We can just use AI to update our app!"
yea, that's one of the theories that's been circling around
They should have known that would happen. I hope it gets fixed soon
It seems to be fixed, at least for me... but it certainly pissed a lot of people off
Muito doido, 1000 pessoas em um único dia, lembro de quando vi essa noticia e fiquei assustado... sempre bom buscar outras formas de renda caso isso aconteça.
Doidera mesmo... parece que impactou o app deles pelo visto..
Faz sentido... os cara só manda embora sem pensar em nada... vão levar ré feio nisso tudo.
