[ESP-ENG] Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Legends in the Making by @Titopx

Es mi primera participación en el “Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge” debido a que el tema de esta semana me llamo muchísimo la atención, además que por razones de tiempo no pude presentar mi entrada en el que siempre participo.
Por lo que estaré en este momento mostrando mis inicios y mi camino en Splinterlands.

This is my first participation in the “Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge” because this week's theme caught my attention, and for time reasons I could not submit my entry in which I always participate.
So I will be at this moment showing my beginnings and my path in Splinterlands.
Inicie mi aventura en Splinterlands en noviembre del 2021 cuando por algunos videos en YouTube y algunos posts en Hive me hicieron indagar un poco más sobre el juego, además que estaban de moda los juegos NFT.
No obstante, lo que si no estaba tan a la moda era la jugabilidad que tenía el juego el cual me atrapo rápidamente e hizo que tan solo 1 mes después comprara mi libro de hechizos para empezar a optar por recompensas en el mismo.
Inicialmente no compre demasiadas cartas y me dedicaba mas que todo a alquilar para poder subir mis recompensas que en ese momento se obtenían de retos diarios y cofres de final de temporada, donde podrían salir cartas Chaos Legión que eran las que estaban mas reciente en ese entonces.
I started my adventure in Splinterlands in November 2021 when some videos on YouTube and some posts on Hive made me to investigate a little more about the game, besides that NFT games were fashionable.
However, what wasn't so trendy was the gameplay of the game which caught me quickly and made me buy my spell book just 1 month later to start opting for rewards in the game.
Initially I didn't buy too many cards and I was mostly dedicated to rent to be able to increase my rewards that at that time were obtained from daily challenges and end of season chests, where Chaos Legion cards could come out, which were the most recent ones at that time.

Lo cierto es que en esos momentos es cuando enfoque mi mente en obtener la mayor cantidad de cartas posibles para no seguir dependiendo de las que me alquilaba de manera predeterminada el juego sino tener posesión absoluta, lo que también daba mas recompensas al final.
Just in January 2022 when I had just a few weeks in the game, I managed to get my first legendary with the end of season chests, which was very special and also led me to take several different steps in the game that I will now mention.
The truth is that in those moments is when I focused my mind on getting as many cards as possible to not continue depending on the ones that the game rented me by default but to have absolute possession, which also gave more rewards at the end.

Taking into account that there were only certain cards that you could get in the rewards chests and not opt for cards that called me much attention which could only come out in the Chaos Legion Packs, I decided to gradually go opening chests and further increasing my deck, until I opened my 5th chest is that I got a legendary that was not Rewards edition as I mentioned in the post: Mi primera legendaria Chaos Legion en mi 5to Pack

Original PostNo puedo dejar de mencionar el momento de mayor suerte que he tenido en el juego desde mis inicios y llego cuando se realizó un Airdrop donde te otorgaban la posibilidad de obtener cartas edición limitada por comprar Packs directamente desde el juego y no desde el mercado secundario.
Habría varias rondas y fue en la ronda número 8 y con tan solo 3 packs comprados obtuve mi edición especial a pesar de que en ese momento personas que tenían hasta 100 packs comprados no obtuvieron nada… como lo explico en este post: CARNAGE TITAN - Mi primera carta del Airdrop Chaos Legión.
I can't fail to mention the luckiest moment I've had in the game since my beginnings and it came when there was an Airdrop where they gave you the chance to get limited edition cards for buying packs directly from the game and not from the secondary market.
There would be several rounds and it was in round number 8 and with only 3 packs bought I got my special edition even though at that time people who had up to 100 packs bought didn't get anything... as I explain in this post: CARNAGE TITAN - Mi primera carta del Airdrop Chaos Legión.
Mi estrategia con el pasar del tiempo / My strategy over time
Para los primeros años la estrategia era algo fácil de realizar ya que no había varias funciones como actualmente, a finales del 2022 por temas laborales y de viaje tuve que dejarlo porque no tendría tiempo para jugar por lo que me deshice de varias legendarias y cartas doradas que tenía en posesión, sin embargo, al regresar volví a comprar algunas de ellas.
Los que estamos desde ese momento sabemos que le juego cambio muchísimo desde entonces, y que la estrategia debe ser diferente de manera obvia, por lo que, a pesar de no inmiscuirme demasiado en las demás funciones, mi objetivo principal por ahora es volver a las batallas de gremios aumentando mi mazo de cartas Gladius además de hacer mi mazo mas potente para volver a mantenerme batallando en Plata como en aquellos años.
Este objetivo ya lo he mencionado en post recientes y eh dicho cuales son los pasos en los que estoy en este momento, esperando poder tener la consistencia que se requiere para ello.
Pero estas últimas semanas tuve un pequeño viaje que me alejo casi 1 mes del juego y sé que vendrán más distracciones, por ahora me enfoco en dar lo mejor y seguir avanzando por muy lento que sea.
For the first years the strategy was something easy to do because there were not several functions as currently, at the end of 2022 for work and travel issues I had to leave it because I would not have time to play so I got rid of several legendary and gold cards that I had in possession, however, when I returned I bought some of them.
Those of us who have been here since then know that the game has changed a lot since then, and that the strategy must be different in an obvious way, so, despite not meddling too much in the other functions, my main goal for now is to return to the guild battles increasing my Gladius deck and making my deck more powerful to keep me battling in Silver as in those years.
This goal I have already mentioned in recent posts and I have said what are the steps I am in right now, hoping to have the consistency that is required to do so.
But these last weeks I had a little trip that took me almost 1 month away from the game and I know that more distractions will come, for now I focus on doing my best and keep moving forward no matter how slow it is.
Comentarios Finales:
Fue algo nostálgico volver a ver post de mas de 3 años de diferencia y saber que muchas cosas han cambiado tanto en el juego como en mi vida personal, deja a notar que es un juego que forma parte de mis vivencias desde hace años y que te genere esa sensación nostálgica hace que se convierta en una bonita experiencia.
Espero que en un futuro pueda volver a ver este post y que, quizás siendo diferente en ese entonces, pueda generar este mismo sentimiento de nostalgia que sentí.
Final Comments:
It was something nostalgic to see again a post more than 3 years apart and to know that many things have changed both in the game and in my personal life, it makes you notice that it is a game that is part of my experiences for years and that it generates that nostalgic feeling makes it become a nice experience.
I hope that in the future I can see this post again and that, maybe being different back then, I can generate this same feeling of nostalgia that I felt.
