This week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals a challenge for WrestleMania 41 that could be one of the biggest matches in wrestling history. You know what? The Rock can fight none other than Cody Rhodes!
I have been a fan of wrestling since my childhood and the idea of these two behemoths confronting each other inside the ring makes me shiver. Cody Rhodes, with his mix of charm and athleticism, up against The Rock, a legend himself—it is just amazing!
And here is where it gets really cool. While we don’t know much but this storyline, it looks like Dwayne Johnson, otherwise known as
The Rock would want to make a contest between titles: WWE Championship versus People’s Champion belt.
This is so awesomely crazy! Just adds another layer of excitement to it.
However, this comes with a twist- there is no surety that Cody will still be the WWE Champion by the time WrestleMania 41 comes around. But then again, that’s what makes wrestling so enthralling, right? Anything can happen anytime and this keeps us at the edge of our seats.
However, I am aware that some doubters may say “It is just rumours it might not happen”. Definitely, it is a possibility. However let us take a moment to imagine what could be. Cody Rhodes vs The Rock for both WWE Championship and The People’s champion – a perfect combination in the world of wrestling.
So here’s hoping that these rumors prove to be true. And if they are not true, merely visualizing Cody Rhodes facing off against The Rock sends chills down any pro-wrestling fan’s spine. Bring on WrestleMania 41!
