What's Happening in the Stock Market?

Names like Microsoft and Nvidia, which used to be investor favorites just recently, have been pushed to the back burner. Now, a new leader has emerged, GoDaddy, the seller of internet domains and services. Aggressive buying by investors has made the GoDaddy stock rally to all time highs.

Other names on their watchlist include GE Aerospace and Coinbase, one of the largest cryptocurrency players. All of these are well invested, as is Palantir Technologies.

On the other hand, big tech names like Nvidia and Microsoft seem to be out of favor for now. The performance of these kinds of stocks was not good enough compared to their performance in times past, as the trend went through many of them at this point in time. But Apple is heading back to doing better.

Apart from GoDaddy, another interesting case has been the rising interest in the building sector. Increasing demand is being witnessed by many construction and homebuilding corporations. They include giants like D.R. Horton and other homebuilders.

That means if big technological companies are less popular, then the other sectors, especially construction, are becoming more and more popular among investors.

What happens to investors then. I guess that's the downside of being an investor. It looks like easy money when you buy a stock and it rises. But unexpected changes look so unfair and unfortunate. It looks like there's no single formula to investing, you just need to be super smart or super lucky or you'll lose in the end. Cold world but that's just how it is I guess.
