This game is truly something I really wish I have focused my eyes on before it launches some years ago and played more of it than any other NFTs out there. Heck I was hesitant to try it just because it's under an expensive chain. But it's never too late to join the party so I immediately grab the chance to play before their plan of $GODS token distribution commence.

It took me several videos on youtube and some guides to digest to fully grasp the mechanics of the game. And congratulations to me, my first match was a win using the Slayer War God. A big shoutout to @meltysquid for making some amazing guides for starters of the game. Check some of his posts on chain about some sweet guides in using different available Gods. Next, I'll try to use his latest guide about Midrange Nature

A taste of victory

One of the key features I like about GU is though getting the desired cards on battle have predefined chances, it does not directly affect the course of individual's gameplay. At the end, if you use well the given mana on each round, you may end up beating the opponent's strategy. But of course, provided that the set of cards you chose are desirable for your Gods.

My current standing is Rusted Iron(as of the time being), just a little push through and I'll be at Purified Iron League. I did track my stats on GUdecks and found out that my current MMR stands at 990+(correct me if I'm wrong). I still have more than a day to finish their Blessings of the Gods Weekly Earnings event. I still need to play for like 37 battles to earn points for the event. My main goal for now is to get the Legendary pack as rewards for playing consecutive wins/games.

The graphics are indeed insane for this game especially in opening the rewards packs. It's just amazing to see how blockchain revolutionize and incentivize the gaming industry to point where non-avid gamers of this type of game is getting hooked-up. How much more if we can set foot our ideas in MOBA gaming integrated with blockchain technology. It's just mind-blowing!

I'm slowly accumulating promo cards to further fuse them and probably sell them on chain. More run-throughs in this area though as I'm seeing some quite complexities of the game especially in minting the cards. Overall, the game is lit! The graphics and game mechanics are superb. I can't help myself but to compare this to other game I am currently playing, this one's on top of my list.
