Greetings everyone

It has been a while since I posted here, been having quite a little bit of pressure and a lot of stuff to do and I also have not been playing GU that much only during weekend rank to finish my 25 games.

So picking what deck to play each week or sticking to an old deck I use is becoming quite a tough decision since I do not know what will work and what not.

However, luckily for me this meta does not contain broken decks like other metas and several decks have been working decently which helps me a little bit in choosing what to play.

I also try to follow or see some latest used decks that I can have and then tweek them the way I want so this week I decided to play the strength steal deception deck which I used before for a few matches and it was pretty nice. So without further ado let's see what the deck is composed of and how it works.

The Deck

This was the final deck that I will be using this week. It is an aggro deception with strength steal, where your main goal of course is to hit face as much as possible to end the game fast and use your hidden creatures for that purpose. While also using the strength steal to render your enemy creatures useless and get rid of their threats.

Now there are some cards that I was thinking about adding them but did not and also some cards that I feel are very key and very important to buy and add in my opinion. So let's see both these cases and get more into details.

Important Cards

These cards in my opinion are the key to this deck and must be added in them in order for it to work or if there is a very close copy to them that would do the trick:

Strength Steal Cards

The deck is all about strength steal so both of these cards must be present of course. With the tempt fate also you will get even more copies of each one of them which makes it 8 cards for 4 copies which is huge!

Arms Dealer

With the hidden creatures in this deck, if this card survives 1 turn it can guarantee HUGE face damage on the opponent which in my opinion makes it so important to be present in this deck since it can finish the game out of nowhere with the big strength buffs it gives for all your board.

Ludian Thesbian

This also helps this deck a lot because of the awesome amount of strength it gives with the echo which can help finish the game out of nowhere and as fast as possible which makes it amazing to be added.

Reflection Elementalist

What makes this card very awesome to have, is not also that you can transform a 1/1 creature that you have (which you will have a lot of because of the echos) into another 3/4 creature, but also the ward on it makes it very likely to survive this turn which will guarantee good amount of face damage and that is why this card makes this list!

Cards I thought of adding

Now there are some cards that I thought if I should add or if it was enough of their use with other cards and I replaced them with different purpose cards and these cards are:

Lethargy Mage

This card is also another great strength steal card and I thought if I should add it or not. But I said that I already basically have 8 strength steal cards in the deck which was enough so I decided to add other type of cards in its place.

Bound by her will

This card works very well with this deck especially since I can drop a lot of enemy creatures down to 1 strength. I might still add it later if I felt it makes good difference but I decided to settle for other style cards for the moment, either card draws or strength buff card.

Final thoughts

I know I am no expert in deception, and it's one of my weak points being a magic and nature player, but I also faced deception a lot so I know how to pilot it a little bit and I practiced beforehand so things should go well hopefully.

Now recently I have been getting from 12 to 15 wins so I am hoping maybe i can get 16 or 17 this week that would be amazing and a small improvement I would say on my end.

I hope I don't find all of a sudden some decks that are being abused and almost close to unbeatable and get my ass kicked especially that I have been not following the meta so much recently.
