¡Hola comunidad! Me presento: mi nombre es Eddy Campos Silvera y soy ingeniero de software y productor musical radicado en Cuba, pero me desenvuelvo también como artista desde hace más de 10 años.

Hello community! Let me introduce myself: my name is Eddy Campos Silvera and I'm a software engineer and music producer based in Cuba, but I have also worked as an artist for more than 10 years.

Mi pasión por el arte comenzó desde niño, cuando me pasaba horas dibujando con infinidades de lápices de colores y pinceles. Mi madre, al darse cuenta de los trazos que hacía, decidió inscribirme en una escuela de dibujo infantil, donde por 7 años consecutivos aprendí más sobre las artes plásticas y gané muchos concursos.

My passion for art began as a child, when I spent hours drawing with countless colored pencils and brushes. My mother, noticing the lines I was making, decided to enroll me in a children's drawing school, where for 7 consecutive years I learned more about plastic arts and won many contests.

A los 14 años, dejé desprevenidamente el dibujo y un año más tarde me adentré en la música digital, mezclando pistas en el famoso software VirtualDJ. Cuando me percaté de que se me daba bastante bien este tipo de arte, decidí estudiarla de manera autodidacta con cursos online en YouTube aprendiendo sobre FL Studio. A la par de terminar mis estudios preuniversitarios, y empezando la universidad en la carrera de Ingeniería en Ciencias Informáticas en la UCi, me adentré de a lleno en la rama musical por 10 largos años.

At the age of 14, I unpreparedly gave up drawing, and a year later I delved into digital music, mixing tracks on the famous VirtualDJ software. When I realized that I was quite good at this type of art, I decided to study it in a self-taught way with online courses on YouTube learning about FL Studio. At the same time as finishing my pre-university studies, and starting university in the career of Engineering in Computer Sciences at UCi, I delved fully into the musical branch for 10 long years.

La ingeniería, me permitió estudiar desarrollo web, lo que me impulsó al diseño front-end y me introdujo al diseño gráfico digital, retomando mis conocimientos de dibujo; usando software como Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator y Blender, sin quererlo, empecé a crear docenas de diseños los cuales serían luego mis primeros NFTs.

Engineering allowed me to study web development, which was what prompted me for front-end design and introduced me to digital graphic design, retaking my knowledge of drawing; using software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Blender, I unwittingly started creating dozens of designs which would later become my first NFTs.

Al descubrir este maravilloso mundo de la blockchain y las criptomonedas, comencé a estudiar los tokens no fungibles (NFTs) con lo cual me destaqué al comenzar el año 2022.

Upon discovering this wonderful world of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, I began to study non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with which I stood out as the year 2022 began.

Al graduarme de mi carrera universitaria, enfoqué todas mis fuerzas para involucrarme lo suficiente en términos de la blockchain, fue cuando lancé mi primera colección SuperWeird Eggs en la red Binance Smart Chain. Esta colección, conformada por un total de 101 activos digitales, tuvieron éxito en el mercado al ser vendidos satisfactoriamente los 17 primeros en la primera semana, y más tarde, los nuevos 32 de 67 minteados hasta el día de hoy.

Upon graduating from university, I focused all my strength to get involved enough in terms of the blockchain, that's when I launched my first collection SuperWeird Eggs on the Binance Smart Chain network. This collection, made up of a total of 101 digital assets, was successful in the market as the first 17 were successfully sold in the first week, and later, the new 32 of 67 minted to date from today.

La música no quedaba atrás e ingresé en el sello discográfico español Addicting Records, estrenando las primeras dos canciones que serían las que me dieran el salto a la fama en lo que a la música electrónica respecta. Aquí, el link de las dos Warning Shot y Undercover Love.

Music was not far behind and I entered the spanish record label Addicting Records, premiering the first two songs that would be the ones that would give me the jump to fame in terms of electronic music regards. Here, the link of the two Warning Shot and Undercover Love.

En Enero de este año 2022, me involucré con el artista e inversor Ramsés Rodríguez con quien creamos más tarde la empresa/comunidad Five Senses, la cual tenía como finalidad asesorar y educar a las personas en lo que a activos digitales y blockchain respecta. Junto a la artista Debora Villar, el alma de la comunidad, participamos en maravillosos eventos en la Fábrica de Arte Cubano, Estudio 50 y el primer evento presencial de Hive en Cuba donde tuve la oportunidad de exponer los principios acerca de los NFTs.

On January of this year 2022, I got involved with the artist and investor Ramsés Rodríguez with whom we later created the company/community Five Senses , which was intended to advise and educate people regarding digital assets and blockchain. Together with the artist Debora Villar, the soul of the community, we participated in wonderful events at Fábrica de Arte Cubano, Estudio 50 and the first Hive face-to-face event in Cuba where I had the opportunity to explain the principles about NFTs.

Entre los meses de Marzo y Junio, lancé mis otras colecciones: What's in the Box?, la cual integra a negocios y empresas privadas a este sector, Kosmos la cual se encuentra disponible en @nftshowroom, The Hero and the Dragon (un EP musical junto al productor Eru), Abstractions y Beats, siendo el primero, la colección más conocida de mi autoría.

Between the months of March and June, I launched my other collections: What's in the Box?, which integrates businesses and private companies into this sector, Kosmos which is available at @nftshowroom, The Hero and the Dragon (a music EP with producer Eru), Abstractions and Beats, being this first one the best-known collection of my authorship.

Actualmente mi comunidad y yo estamos trabajando en expandir el uso de los NFTs no sólo como reserva de valor y expresión artística digital, sino también como activos VIP para los holders de tokens, con posibilidades infinitas, feature que estaremos creando próximamente.

My community and I are currently working on expanding the use of NFTs not only as a store of value and digital artistic expression, but also as VIP assets for token holders, with infinite possibilities, a feature that we will be creating soon by us.

Unirme a esta comunidad me encantó tanto como cuando ingresé en Hive por primera vez. Me gusta el apoyo mutuo, la creatividad y la asesoría, es por eso que he dedicado mis tres últimos meses a compartir nuevo contenido relacionado con los NFTs en mi perfil, donde encontrarás siempre cosas de las que puedas nutrirte para tus colecciones digitales y usos en la blockchain.

I loved joining this community as much as I did when I first joined Hive.
