Many of you know Soundcloud, Spotify, Napster, Pandora, Mixcloud, Amazon Music and even Apple Music , know that these are digital music streaming platforms where artists, as creators, upload content that is consumed by users or fans. For listeners, it's very easy to listen to music directly from the official sites or apps of these services, as long as they like the content they listen to, sometimes an inconvenience for some specific users may be the audio quality, in which the most of the time the content is not available at a bitrate higher than 196kbps, but for the creators of this type of content, the point of view is very different:

Several options arise here, many would choose to upload their music to Telegram, share it with their friends on WhatsApp, others to Soundcloud or another digital platforms. On the one hand, uploading it to Telegram, WhatsApp or other instant messaging applications, in addition to being very unprofessional, you would be devaluing your music by not registering your authorship on it first, and you could fall victim to theft by criminals or hackers who are just waiting for your music to come out to steal it from you. Digamos que eres productor musical independiente y acabas de terminar un track que llevas mezclándolo desde hace 2 años, osea estuviste dos años y un poco más poniéndole todo el empeño del mundo para poder terminarlo y lanzarlo y que todos lo escuchen, el sueño de todo músico. Aquí se derivan varias opciones, muchos escogerían subir su música a Telegram, compartirla con sus amigos en WhatsApp, otros a Soundcloud o a otras plataformas digitales. Por una parte subirla a Telegram, WhatsApp u otras aplicaciones de mensajería instantánea, además de ser muy poco profesional, estarías desvalorizando tu música al no registrarle primero tu autoría sobre la misma, pudiendo caer como víctima de robo por parte de malhechores o hackers que sólo esperan a que tu música salga para robártela. Por otra parte decides o bien firmar con un sello (BUENA OPCIÓN 👍) y distribuirla por las plataformas digitales que conoces o pues bien puedes hacerlo por ti mism@.

That's where Audius comes in, compared to traditional means of music distribution, being a much more feasible alternative than those previously mentioned, and yes, you have understood me correctly, a BETTER ALTERNATIVE and I'll explain you why:

Ahí es cuando entra Audius, en comparativa con los medios tradicionales de distribución musical siendo una alternativa mucho más factible que las anteriormente dichas, y sí, me has entendido bien, una ALTERNATIVA MEJOR y te explico por qué:

Audius not only allows you to upload your music so that it can be heard by a wide range of users, but also, when uploading, it provides you with a permanent authorship certificate by default on it with timestamp technology, the one that, with the audio spectrum, through your wallet, creates a unique hash, that if, for example, someone else tried to upload your song, the system itself would not allow them to upload it to the platform and the person who has processed it would be exposed to being banned from it, and its wallet would be blacklisted as a scammer.

Audius no sólo te permite subir tu música para que pueda ser escuchada por una amplia gama de usuarios, sino que también, al subirla, te provee por defecto un certificado de autoría permanente sobre la misma con la tecnología marca de tiempo, la que, con el espectro de audio, a través de tu wallet, crea un hash único, que si por ejemplo, alguien más tratara de subir tu canción, el sistema mismo no le permitiría subirla a la plataforma y la persona que la haya tratado de subir quedaría expuesta a ser baneada de la misma, y su wallet quedaría fichada en lista negra como scammer.

Unlike traditional streaming platforms, artworks uploaded on Audius do not go to a specific company server, but are uploaded to IPFS, which does for example, Spotify would go down, it would probably go down with 70% of the data, but in case Audius went down, the data would never be lost and neither would your progress, user stats or playback as it is also a decentralized system.
