Tax tokens aren't new — $Hoge kicked off the trend. The first memecoin that actually pushed a lot of people to bridge to BSC was SafeMoon, which had a 10% buy and 10% sell tax.

Nothing new, nothing fancy. Same bullshit, different box 📦. Those projects failed because when trading volume fell, donations fell too. Not a very sustainable business model for 2025
