A nice little local find

While I have always been a bigger fan of liberty coins, I still like picking up more recent coins. Many I buy as junk silver by weight. On rare occasion you find something in the junk that doesn't belong. I found this nice Franklin half dollar in junk silver believe it or not. It's a great coin with plenty of luster left and relatively unworn, I would grade it about uncirculated.

1963 D Franklin Half Dollar:
Mint: Denver
Compostion: 90% silver
Mintage: 67,069,292
Weight: 12.5 grams
Diameter: 30.6 mm

Just goes to show sometimes you can get lucky with a bag of junk silver (although usually you don't.) Keep on stacking that silver and gold!

Coin collecting and buying silver and gold is a great hobby, but it's not for everyone. I'm not a financial advisor just a guy on the internet, and this isn't financial advice. Always do your own research!

Have a great Tuesday!

Most people I talk to, find this very hard to believe, but our 90% Silver Coins will do Ten Times Better than our Common U.S. Coinage, on the other side of the Reset... I'm expecting our Common U.S. Coinage to increase 100 Fold in Spending Power, and our 90% Silver Coins will do Ten Times Better than that... I'm expecting the U.S. Treasury to be offering a Corrected 1/2 Ounce, $5 Silver Coin, in Exchange for your 1963 Half Dollar... A $5 Silver Coin will have the Spending Power of 500 of Today's Fiat USD's...
