Cuenca y Oscuridad (Zmierzch)

Przepraszam za nieobecność, pani Teresa przesylała mi dalej swoje prace, jednakże tematy dnia codziennego nie pozwoliły na znalezienie chwili dla pochylenia się nad sztuką. Zastanawia mnie...najpierw przeleje to na posta, a potem pozwole sobie spytać autorkę - czy była kiedyś w Hiszpanii. W jej pracach przewijają sie często odniesienia do zabytków południa Europy. Czy też może wydaje mi się tylko, bo gotyckie katedry są tam równie częste, co w innych miejscach na świecie. Spośród przesłanych prac wyróżnia się ta przedstawiająca ikonę hiszpańskiego miasta Cuenca - wiszące domy (Casas Colgadas) i najsłynniejsze z nich Casa de la Sirena i dwa Casas de los Reyes.

I apologize for my absence. Mrs. Teresa continued to send me her works, but everyday topics prevented me from finding time to delve into art. I'm wondering... first, I'll put it in a post, and then I'll ask the author if she's ever been to Spain. Her works often reference the monuments of southern Europe. Or maybe it's just me, since Gothic cathedrals are as common there as anywhere else in the world. Among the submitted works, the one that stands out is the one depicting the icon of the Spanish city of Cuenca – the hanging houses (Casas Colgadas), and the most famous of them, the Casa de la Sirena and the two Casas de los Reyes.

Teresa Kubacka Absolwentka Instytutu Wychowania Artystycznego Uniwersytetu im. Jana Długosza w Częstochowie.
Dyplom z grafiki w pracowni prof. R. Osadczego zrealizowała i obroniła w 1985 roku. Przez ostatnie trzydzieści kilka lat zajmowała się edukacją plastyczną w szkołach katowickich, gdzie z pasją oddawała się pracy pedagogicznej i organizacji wydarzeń artystycznych, plenerów i warsztatów. Najważniejsze nagrody i wyróżnienia: konkurs graficzny im. Aleksandra Raka (BWA Katowice), Źródło 1988, konkurs Natura Matką Ludzi – brązowy medal w 1988 roku.
Udział w licznych plenerach artystycznych i wystawach.
Mieszka i pracuje w Katowicach.

Teresa Kubacka A graduate of the Institute of Artistic Education at the Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa.
She completed and defended her diploma in graphic arts under Professor R. Osadczy in 1985. For the past thirty years, she has been involved in art education in schools in Katowice, where she passionately devoted herself to teaching and organizing artistic events, plein-air workshops, and workshops. Major awards and distinctions include the Aleksander Rak Graphics Competition (BWA Katowice), Source 1988, and the Nature the Mother of People competition – bronze medal in 1988.
She has participated in numerous plein-air workshops and exhibitions.
She lives and works in Katowice.
