It is great to support local businesses, yes it can be more expensive at times, but you are also putting money back into the local community not some multinational or foreign company.
Pure maple syrup is awesome and I have to confess to loving it!

I kind of grew tired of it when I was younger, but now I think I am starting to enjoy it a bit more. I don't mind helping out a friend too.
