I Pulled a Tengo but no Matilda in Grand CraftInk opening

Hello Hello Hivians!

Well I have just about recovered from all the hullabaloo on Friday.

In case you missed it, it was the day I was hoping to pull a Matilda from a booster pack...

A booster pack of what you might be asking...

CraftInk is going to The game of Hive for 2023 imho, I have to keep up with my habit of shilling Craft.Ink whenever I can.

CraftInk is the game from @hiq and @hiq.magazine the magazine that I proofread and occasionally write articles for (this month it will be @liotes for me, watch your DM @ph1102 and @achim03 there might be a question flying your way!)

Wen booster has been a favourite phrase of mine, but you should have seen the shock when @quekery says okay can you proofread all the cards now please tengo!

Ummm okay, damn we really are moving🤣

So Friday was the much anticipated launch day for the booster pack sale.

There was a fun launch event in the HiQ discord server hosted by the wonderful @ravenmus1c (what impeccable English she has!) and you can read about it from @craftink in CraftInk - FomoInk Friday Meetup Summary | Booster Pack Shop OpenINK + Cashback

It was a heap of fun.

CraftInk is a NFT TRADING CARD GAME

CraftInk is a play2earn & play2support NFT trading card game. It has an unprecedented connectivity with the Hive Blockchain.

There is always a clue in the Title, so NFT Trading Card game sort of gives it away yes...

That is what you are there to buy!

Booster Packs, that cost $3 and get you five cards in the pack.

What cards you get, well that is hands of the Booster Pack Gods!

The guys have done a great job, the in game token is INK which has been on hive-engine for a few months now. You can stake and you use to add liquity in a couple of diesel pools...

Pretty fluffing nifty right?

That is not all!

Not only will you get the usual free packs when buy certain amounts, but depending how much INK you have then you will be entitled to a cash back on your booster pack purchase.

How fluffing cool is cashback!

The game itself will be cool, I know that!

I remember how fluffing excited the @hiq core team of @quekery @smooms and @mary-me were when they travelled up to the house of @balte for the weekend and they played the game with physical cards for the first time.

Now if like me and @ph1102 and no doubt a few others, you have not played a Trading Card Game before, then have no fear!

@smooms takes great delight in telling anyone who will listen that @balte played a blinder, he had never played a Trading Card game before yet in no time he had mastered his deck and was winning!

Perhaps fittingly then, I drew 2 of the @balte card from the booster packs I got.

I am not here to tell you when the game will be launched fully or when the mini game comes out, or what missions will be available and how you can earn INK from the game...

Oh no, you have to do some things yourself!

Got to keep up FOMO high right!

For more information on card types and number/percentage of rares etc go read CraftInk | 1st Booster Release and for info the special foil in CraftInk is called a Holo (yes from hologram)

Did I draw any holos?

Well only 1, but 1 is better than 0 right!

Being part of the @hiq setup I was fortunate to have a card with my name in the First Booster Edition ...

So yes I got a tengolotodo, am pretty chuffed with that!
I also found out I got nerfed too 🤣

But alas I did not draw a Matilda! (Yet LOOL!)

Now for some more good news on Tuesday we have Talk Time with Tengo...

Come find out it Raven got her card, and let's hear how chuffed were the Craft.Ink team at how well everything went...

There is so much good that gets done on the Hive blockchain, and this is yet more good stuff from those at HiQ headquarters!

I will definitely need help with rules as I have no idea what it is all about... lol... I did buy some packs and opened them, but wasn't too lucky to get Matilda or Tengo... 😜 When the game comes live, will buy more packs... :)

Yeah, I try to choose an interesting project that had been on Talk Time that month and planet Liotes fits the bill😄.

You were doing great and don't worry about the accent... Some of us have a Russian accent and not being Russian at all... 😂
