All of my days, hearing about robbery, I have never encountered it so close that it was even at a not option stand for me.. This weekend happen to be one of the most terrifying weekend which I have ever had because I was attacked by some robbers in my apartment and I was so scared.

Most of the time when we hear this from people that got victimised, we endup hearing stories because we were not in their shoes and we will never understand how it feels for them to be in that position..

what happened..

Sabotaged room in my apartment

Yesterday, at the dawn of the day, at about 4am we heard of some apartments getting attacked by some gangs of robbers but someone in my apartment said she saw a trace of light pointing into her room but no one paid much attention to that.. so it went away. Am Earlier that same morning a man next to my compound, saw a young man outside the fence of my apartment but he said he tried greeting the man to know who the person was but the pesin disregarded his greetings and flew down from the fence .. Thank God there was light and everywhere was bright enough for us to see clearly at night..

So he thought it was someone staying inside my apartment after he must have traced the movement of the guy and he was unable to see him. Yesterday night at about 11.50 pm I heard a loud scream of that same lady in my apartment shouting for help. The robber has had his way through the ladies window trying to steal her phones. Luck being on her side, she was quite brave enough to compete with the robber but she was left with an injury on her palm..

After she screamed for help, I was very scared and helpless because I was the only elderly person in the apartment and the remaining people were younger ladies. But what can I do? Then I decided to pick up my phone and dial the number of some policemen aroun us to seek help and I also reached out to some of my friends staying around the neighborhood to stay alert incase of any other attack..

This incident was very horrible that I couldn't sleep even after many people came to our rescue and those robbers had to flew. I was very skeptical about the leaving just like that and I was think they would want to come back again to finish their jobs. This happens to be the most tremendous incident that has happened to me and I was very helpless.. I really wish those guys were apprehended that would have made me happy because I want them to pay for the stress they made us go through over the night...

Till this very moment, I have been unable to sleep because I feel so uncomfortable. Thats why they always say, when you haven't been in a situation, never judge someone that has gone through it when such pesin behaves in an odd way..
