Hello splinter boys and girls living in the Splinterverse, hope you all are enjoying the new reward mechanism in Splinterlands with the great opportunity of tons of loot chests everyday and hundreds of loot chests at the end of every season! This is my entry in Weekly Battle Challenge with the Flying Squid which is an important monster to all the players and it is also one of my favorite monster from the water splinter while I ma using the water or dragon SUMMONER KELYA FRENDUL or QUIX which offers increasing speed with extra armor and decreasing speed and range attack respectively. This 7 MANA monster can be very helpful in maximum situations. Today in this battle I will discuss about how important the FLYING SQUID in most of the matches with most of the rulesets!

In my battle, I will reveal how the card is performing in such a match against one of the most powerful enemy in the Splinterlands. **This match was a competitive one for me but with the excellent performance of the my awesome monsters with tons of MELEE and RANGE attacks I won the match. And that's why I couldn't resist myself from sharing this amazing battle with you.

This is a NEUTRAL MONSTER which is a fantastic card with the cheapest MANA cost, I can say that it is one of the best NEUTARL RARE cards among the all CL SET!

This card is an excellent card with moderate mana which will cost you only 7 MANA with the amazing number of HEARTs MELEE attacks with high speed and the excellent ability of REACH, BLIND and BACKFIRE.

I have chosen this card because of the following reasons-

• Due to the moderately higher MANA MATCH

• KELYA FRENDUL summoner will increase the speed and add an extra armor of the all monsters by 1.

• The REACH ability will make it able to attack as my second TANK!

• SPEED and the number of MELEE damage is excellent!

• LOW cost RARE from the water team so it's a best option for the new players!

In this battle I have used the WATER CL summoner: KELYA FRENDUL which is one of my favorite SUMMONER. It does excellent job by increasing one armor and speed of all the monsters of my team.

Let's dive into The Battle

My battle was a 40 MANA battle with HOLY PROTECTION rulesets.
And I have chosen my RARE WATER summoner KELYA FRENDUL (level 2) as my summoner. I chose it because this summoners will increase the SPEED and add an extra ARMOR to my team monsters which is amazing! And, that's why I have chosen the most of my monsters with higher speed.

My monster positions

As I expected the enemy team with the TARSA and with FIRE team monsters with the PLUS ! MELEE ATTACKS is devastating for any team. I chose the KELYA FRENDUL as the summoner it offers increasing the the SPEED OF ATTACKs.

I have chosen the WATER monster TORTILO THE FROZEN as my primary TANK! as it is very useful against MAGIC ATTACKS as it it has a solid health with the significant number of ARMOURSs with the excellent abilities of VOID so that the MAGIC attackers will get half of their attacks. As MANA cost is not so important issue here because of ** 40 MANA match** and I need to be careful in spending the MANA without any solid reason and this summoner is a heavy attacker also with decent speed that make it perfect for using in the first position.

For my second monster lineup, I have chosen the great neutral monster FLYING SQUID. It is an awesome monster with the amazing ability of REACH and a lot of health and MELEE attacks.

My third monster is one of the amazing water monster DEEPLURKER with its excellent ability of OPPORTUNITY with lot of MELEE attacks and solid speed which will make this monster excellent with the water summoner KELYA FRENDUL.

My fourth monster is another super monster URAEUS with the outstanding ability of SNEAK so it can attack to the last monster of the enemy team.

My fifth monster is 7 MANA monster AXEMASTER with the amazing ability of double strike with 2 RANGE attacks. It has a good number of hearts with very good speed and excellent number of RANGE attacks.

My last but not the least monster is the 4 MANA monster KULU SWIMHUNTER without any ability but it has 2 RANGE attacks with significant number of hearts and good speed. And it can absorb couple of sneaks attacks from the enemy team also.

My battle

When I saw the TARSA summoner with the FIRE TEAM I though I am going to loose the battle as usual as the enemy team has some good SNEAK ATTACKER and ALSO SOME GRAET CARDS WITH THE REACH ABILITY.

My first tank was doing great job here because of it's ARMORS and significant number of health. IT did excellent damage to the first two main TANK of the enemy team which is amazing!

And my another and one the best monster FLYING SQUID was doing best with its REACH ability by doing great damage to the target. The amazing monsters AXEMASTER was devastating with it's DOUBLE STRIKE attacks. It did significant damage to the target monster of the enemy team.

Finally I win the match as the FLYING SQUID, AEMASTER and others did amazing job with the huge number o f ATTACKS. I saw my victory with my existing 4 monsters with almost full health which is amazing.

Most importantly, now all the new players can afford these excellent card with the excellent stats with very cheap cost. And this card can be a great card for many situational based battle in Splinterlands game!

Result

Finally the amazing victory of my team was surprising for me and I got the idea of the HOLY PROTECTION rulesets with the amazing monsters the great combination with the SUMMONER ABILITY. The combined strategy will make you expert through higher winning rate and higher rewards!

I got 1.752 DEC and 1398 R-shares from the battle reward by adding 38 trophies.
